*Room: I chose to pay extra for an oceanfront room. The view is outstanding, but unfortunately that is where the pleasantries stop. Dusit Beach Resort is advertised as a 4-Star hotel, and that can not be farther from the truth. Room was spacious but can use a thorough cleaning. Upon inspection at check in, there was evidence that the toilet, shower, bar area, etc. had not been deeply cleaned. Unfortunately, that is not where the lack of housekeeping ended.

*Housekeeping: The next day, I after arriving back to the hotel after 4pm, I discovered that the room had not been cleaned/replenished although the placard was on my door indicating to service my room. I noticed housekeeping personnel in the hallway and inquired about what time rooms are serviced and requested to clean mine. They stated that they would come when finished with the current room. Around 5:30, no one showed up. After receiving no answer at the front desk, I went downstairs to inquire in person. The clerk said that a lot of people checked in, so rooms went without cleaning. I stated that at almost 6pm, that is unacceptable (especially after just returning from a day of off roading) and I would like my room serviced as soon as possible. Housekeeping did not come until 7pm. Not only was the room half cleaned, wash towels and water were not replaced.

My experience would pretty much remain the same for my entire visit; having to go down to the front desk (no answer via phone) to request housekeeping which would not be completed until after 4 or 5 pm. Completely unacceptable especially given that I paid more for an ocean front room, yet every other room received attention while I was forced to wait until the evening.

*Water: Water bottles provided on first day only. Was not replenished by housekeeping even when requested. Was told to call the front desk (again no answer). Water bottle refill stations are located in the hallway, however remained unsanitary and filthy throughout my entire stay.

*Ice: Ice machine located in the hallway also remained filthy throughout my entire stay. How do I know it was not cleaned? Sand was dumped in it and remained for the duration of my stay. I had to access a different floor to get ice. Additionally, the carpeted area in the entirety of the hallway remained soaking wet for the duration of my stay.

*Parking: There are signs designating hotel parking, however the parking garages are also utilized by the mall which leaves very little options for parking. Garages were often full. One my first day upon arrival, there was no doorman to receive luggage and/or provide guidance on the parking situation. This resulted in me having to haul my luggage from the top floor of the Dusit Thani parking garage to the front desk of the sister hotel. For $300+ a night for a room, there were several points of service that could use a more hospitable touch.

*Beach: The actual beach is beautiful and the only highlight from my visit. However, beach chairs/umbrellas are not provided by the hotel but are available for purchase starting at $35. Other water toys and life vest were also available for purchase.

*Amenities: I did not utilize the pool due to the overcrowding, but it looked nice, and the waterfall was a nice touch. The over abundance of used towels surrounding the kiosk was a bit of an eye sore.

The café had offerings that looked appetizing. I ordered the breakfast wrap. It was delicious and was priced appropriately.

Overall, I did not enjoy my stay at Dusit Beach Resort. For the price paid, my stay was not up to par and completely unacceptable. Will definitely not recommend this hotel, and would like to caution anyone else looking for a relaxing stay in Guam....

Booked 4 rooms and 3 of the rooms were hot the entire stay. My family and I in all those affected rooms were all expressing our disatisfaction throughout the entire night amongst each other and how we were all sweating. we didnt even use blankets! Hotel staff only made an effort to have maintenance go the morning of our check out day about 2 HOURS before we had to leave. Both my partner and I and our two children were sweating all night. We even requested for a fan because service wasnt going to be provided in a timely manner. (My kids were asleep already and they expected us to stay up until after 12am to wait up for maintenance hence why we requested for a fan.) To our disappointment, we recieved a fan that did not even rotate and was extremely dirty and dusty. Since we checked out and up til 2 days after, our baby has been sick with a bad cold and fever probably due to that dirty fan and sweating all night!. On top of that, the shower temperature kept fluctuating and we got burned from the hot water. Thank God it wasnt any of our kids or we would have had a different outcome with the hotel staff. However, the water wasnt secure and consistent because it changed out of no where from the shower head to the over head shower head and I was showering my infant!! She almost choked on water because I couldnt figure out why the water switched and came out from the other one!! and the water pressure was too strong for a little baby to get blasted by out of no where! Major safety issues especially for young children! I am severely dissatisfied with my experience at this hotel and the front desk paid no mind at all to any concerns and basically brushed aside our complaints that we had no choice but to make the most of it because of the ridiculous amount of money in comparison to the experience. The lack of urgency, cleanliness, maintenance and care for guests is extremely disappointing considering being one of the more grand hotels here on Guam. Do not check into the room unless you check to see if it is up to standards and make sure you keep an eye on your kids when in the shower to make sure theyre safe! And make sure they actually CLEAN the rooms and appliances if you request for one. Ridiculous. Horrible experience for the overnight...

A Luxurious Oasis in the Pacific

Nestled along the picturesque Tumon Bay, Dusit Beach Resort Guam is a paradisiacal retreat that epitomizes luxury and relaxation. During my recent stay, I was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of this exquisite resort.

Upon arrival, I was greeted with warm smiles and a refreshing welcome drink, setting the tone for the exceptional hospitality that awaited me throughout my stay. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate any requests I had.

The accommodations at Dusit Beach Resort Guam are nothing short of spectacular. I stayed in one of their deluxe ocean view rooms, which offered breathtaking vistas of the crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches. The room itself was elegantly appointed with modern furnishings, plush bedding, and all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was evident, from the luxurious bath products to the thoughtful turndown service each evening.

One of the highlights of my stay was the resort's dining options. From sumptuous international buffets to authentic Thai cuisine, the restaurants at Dusit Beach Resort Guam cater to every palate. I particularly enjoyed dining al fresco at the beachfront restaurant, where I indulged in freshly caught seafood while taking in the mesmerizing sunset views.

The resort's facilities are equally impressive, with a sprawling infinity pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a tranquil spa offering a range of rejuvenating treatments. Whether lounging by the pool or exploring the island's attractions, there was never a dull moment during my stay.

What truly sets Dusit Beach Resort Guam apart, however, is the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every interaction was marked by genuine warmth and attentiveness, making me feel truly valued as a guest.

In conclusion, Dusit Beach Resort Guam surpassed all my expectations and provided an unforgettable experience. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or simply a tranquil escape, this luxurious oasis in the Pacific is sure to delight even the most...

During my 3 week visit back home, I wanted to experience different hotels and see which one offered the best for the price. I have stayed at Hilton, Hyatt, and Tsubaki prior to checking in at Dusit Beach. Dusit Beach was supposed to be our longest stay since the location seemed prime and the beach access looked nice. However, instead of 9 days I immediately checked out the next morning after waking up with severe back/hip pain. I took a peek at the mattress and was disgusted at what I saw. The mattress was dingy and the springs were visible through the mattress. I could tell that the mattress was at least 10+ years old. I tried to call the front desk to see if we could switch rooms. They informed me that all the rooms had that same mattress. When I decided to check out, I talked to the person at the front desk and they mentioned that all the rooms were “upgraded” with the exception of the mattresses. Dusit Beach is not a 4 star hotel. If you are coming from the mainland, I’d say it is comparable to La Quinta Inn. The only thing that sells is the location and it’s proximity to everything. Even at that, it is not worth your comfort. The room does not feel as clean as other hotels and you could definitely get more for your money elsewhere. Parking (1/5)- small garage. Not as convenient for loading and unloading luggages. Dining (5/5)- lots of options in hotel since it is located in a plaza mall. Also, within walking distance to other good food outside of the hotel. Beach (4/5)- compared to Hilton and Tsubaki, this beach is not rocky and has nicer sand/waters. Room (1/5)- weird small balcony at an angle. Bathrooms feel a little dingy. Toilets had some permanent stains on the seats. Tub was not clean…would not soak in it! Mattress extremely old.

After flying 20+ hours to get to this supposed "nice" resort, I checked into a room with stool skids in the toilet. Exhausted, I said whatever and got ready for bed. Went to turn on the TV, and the remote didn't work. Tried to call down to guest services, and the phone didn't work. I decided just to forget about it until tomorrow. Got into bed and felt something on my legs. Turned down the sheets to find all kinds of black something in the bed. I called the hotel from my cell and was told they would tell the manager. I ended up packing up my stuff and going down to the front desk, only to be told they have no other availability and nothing they could or would do aside from cleaning the room. For a "5" star resort, it's nothing close. Do not stay here! Oh, they did offer me free breakfast and a drink for my trouble. Sorry Fumika (manager), when I prepaid for the room, expecting 5 star service and room, it's not enough or even close to 5 stars. I'd say 1 at best. Edit: I was moved the next day to a different room, and the hotel has made efforts and corrected the above issues noted in my review. Imee (manager) contacted me today and we spoke, and she stated that my review was for the wrong hotel. My review is actually in regards to the Dusit Thani resort, which is the sister property next door to Dusit Beach resort. I appreciate that they made things right, but my opinion stands because this shouldn't have happened in the first place.
