the majority of the food was not good. the roast beef was overcooked and there was no au jus. when i asked if they had any aujus they looked at me like i was stupid. who serves roast beef without au jus? when i asked for a slice she gave me a wedge. the pita bread for the cheese was hard. the ramen broth had no flavor. their fish was barely cooked on the inside. their umeboshi had a really weird texture. their chips have been out too long and they got stale and soggy from the humidity. the seafood stations were a mess from people making the mess but none of the employees cleaned it up. there was a shop fan blower in the middle food station blowing air upwards. there was dust and what looked like food particles stuck to the blower vent (health hazard and cross contamination). the seats werent cleaned off from the previous people who sat at the table and there was food all over it. one table was cleared, but they didnt clean the mess where the baby as and had made a mess on the floor. the one thing that was good were the staff (except for the roast beef cutter). my waitress checked on me often and what seemed like the manager asked me multiple times if everything was ok. i said yes because i didnt feel like explaining everything to him and plus some of the issues are outside of his control. considering this restaurant was inside the dusit, it did not match the class and quality you would expect even if the price of the...
Read moreHave a few reasons why I didn’t enjoy my buffet experience:
The first plate I grabbed had a smudge of ketchup and it even got on my hands. Ew. They definitely need to work on their sanitation and cleanliness.
Food was pretty limited. It wasn’t bad, but it definitely wasn’t great. The only portion that was somewhat enjoyable was their dessert bar.
One of my tempura shrimp has 2 tails. Seems who ever was cooking it, accidentally included an extra tail to the tempura I ate. Needs some attention to detail.
I asked for Coca-Cola and they charged me separately… which is fine. But they could’ve given me the courtesy of saying there’s an extra charge for Coke but there are no extra charges for Pepsi and other drinks. I would’ve settled for Pepsi, just saying.
Lastly, they are one of the very few large hotel chains on island that does NOT offer a military discount. Not a big deal. But if you were able to compare the price, quality, and quantity to other buffets to like Niji (located in Hyatt Regency)… you are better off spending your money at Niji, which is slightly more higher in price… but you’ll have more pleasant and enjoyable experience. And with the military discount offered at Niji, the price difference isn’t significant.
The views from the buffet were nice and it definitely gives you that cool island vibe, but I personally would...

Decadent desserts to pair with your forever flowing coffee- peanut butter tart, raspberry cheesecake, bread pudding with cream sauce, taro cake, omg so many more.
Oh and draft beer, hot coffee, shangri la iced tea is included!!!!!
Oh oh oh and the service is superb! Like friendly from the operator to make reservations, to the server making sure we have more beer or hot coffee, to the people adding more food. Nonstop smiles.
No sighs or bad attitudes here. Big tips are truly deserved here unlike the mandatory 10% at other restaurants with poor service which is like 90% of the restaurants on guam.
2020 review: Used to come here all the time but the service variety and quality are like a...
