We have been in this antique store multiple times but so frustrated today because of an impatient and rude cashier. My husband is hard of hearing and didn't understand her when she quoted the price . She was rude replying " I told you 3X that's the price! " So rude that made me intervene! I paid, I was reviewing the receipt and she interrupted me wants me to sign at once, (in a hurry )pointed where I need to sign and said she will give me a copy. On our way out , Saw that she charged me $ 5.00 for a candle holder supposed to be $ 1.00 .( I checked the price before I put it in our basket the actual price, it looks like $100 there was another lady and she said $1.00) I went back , the moment she saw she saw me she screamed " I told you you can't return that!" She thought I was returning the $ 78.00 we bought. When she looked at price of the candle holder, it was really $1.00! Then finally she said she will give a refund! I told her she can have the candle holder and $ 5.00, and her customer service is so bad!!!!! Might be my color that she acted like that or in hurry because the store will be closing soon? Note: When we go to Temecula we never forget to go to this nice store......because of this lady so rude , we will not come back to this antique place...
Read moreWoman who claims to be the owner rang up my $100 purchase … so nasty from the start. I set my pile of about 50 small items at the counter to be rung up and held back 4 to decide once I knew my total. She said in a snotty attitude .. “ so you are not ready?”? Told her I am ready hence why I was at the counter… told her I was resale… asked for my info.. was ready with my info and she got snappy cause she wanted actual paperwork. Been resale for 25 years and never have had to have the hard copy. That’s fine no biggeee for me . Seems to have make her go full tilt … short fuse. End of sale I told her that she and the customer service man were both rude. She proceeded to yell at me in front of the line of customers … how I made them all wait… my inquiry in resale took place over 10 seconds… maybe if that is an issue have more than 1 cashier on Black Friday … line of 10 people would agree . Sad that dealers pay high price to rent from her and don’t have someone courteous to take care of customers. I pick regularly and this was someplace I planned to visit again till I met the vile attitude while checking out. PS… now I know who was yelling rudely over the intercom at the floor staff to help...
Read moreI almost do not want to rate this place so high so people will not come and find my treasures first but alas I will share as I cannot afford them all. This place first of all is HUGE with so much to look at so plan a couple hours minimum to check this place out (and the outside!!) and bring a few dollars for some popcorn and a pop (or bring water) :)...this place is a marathon not a sprint!! The goods at this place (for the most part) are reasonably priced and fair and (again for the most part) pretty unpretentious (minus a couple booths). I do not like to haggle so if I do not feel like I have to, I am more likely to buy it! I bought the coolest huge rod iron hot air balloon, an awesome wooden toy truck, a metal large tub (for drinks), and a wooden toy wagon last time I was there all for under $100 without haggling. The woman working the front desk is not friendly and either owns the place or hates her job so beware, it is not a concierge service place but they will help you load and get stuff as needed. I have been there a few times and always find at least one fun thing that I don't need but need to buy......
