Wow!! What an amazing venue! I've lived here in Temecula for two years now and HOW did I not visit this place sooner?? We are a huge group of friends who regularly go out on Friday or Saturday, and all of us are Musicians or Singers - so therefore we're always looking for either Live Music and/or Karaoke. We've known about other places for Karaoke but never about the Crush & Brew, and dude... are we HAPPY that we found this joint. This is one venue that literally has it ALL! DINING: We usually go for dinner & drinks first, so we did that just there since the place has good reviews - and dang, what an experience. The food was superb... very unique & delicious (I had the Burger with Brie & Arugula and it was to die for. My Friend had the Pork Belly Mac and wow, so good! Another friend had Fish & Chips and it was all so fresh. I think they served her an entire fresh fish! It was so huge! Lol)... and the drinks were also very unique and flavorful. Everything was absolutely on point. ENTERTAINMENT: While we were dining we got to enjoy some really really outstanding live music with very talented musicians. Very impressive to say the least. And then afterwards we did Karaoke! The atmosphere was great and fun, and the song choices are endless, without any limitations! What we loved is the easy way to sign up for songs - you can do it from your phone and it's so so convenient. We enjoyed ourselves so much. SERVICE & STAFF: And then the staff - WHAT a group of wonderful people. I never give such raving reviews, but they really went above and beyond. They were so welcoming, personal and caring, and treated us like long time customers. Never rushed us and were super flexible with our needs... in general, they all just seemed like a big family. The service was outstanding and the interaction so sweet. I feel like me and my friends have found our new Friday night join. I am so happy! Kudos to management for keeping it all up like that. And kudos to the staff. You guys are fantastic. Please never change anything! See you next time!

With the pandemic amongst us I felt very at ease to see that C&B set up a beautiful outdoor dining area demonstrating that they care for their customers' well being. My partner and I decided to celebrate our anniversary here and let me tell you, it was an outstanding choice. Not only was the hostess nice and accommodating, our server (May, Mei, Mae?) was super nice and knowledgeable. She had some great recommendations as well as being very humorous. As for the food.... no complaint here. It not only looked too beautiful to eat but it was just as delicious. We ordered their Brussel sprouts appetizer and it quickly became a favorite. Also, their Poke nachos (I'm sure that is not the ACTUAL name) were colorful and flavorful. Soon we were ready for actual entrees. The fish&chips ( I made my fries the pork belly fries YUM) and Meatloaf were AMAZING. Beautifully plated, the portions were great and we were so stuffed at the end, the kitchen helped us with our celebration by Beautifully decorating our desert. All the attention to detail was greatly appreciated. C&B has made this anniversary one to remember. Thank you for all the hard work from the kitchen staff, to the front of the house staff... we will be returning.

This was a hard 3 stars. But I will say there was some stuff about the place. Pros: food was decent and maybe some was on us that was just ok. Clean looking Cons: placed order asked for certain things fries instead of chips, extra sauces on food. Comes out with no fries and no sauce. We bring it up she said well it comes with chips.. when she was the one recommended the fries lol. Ok honest mistake. I ask about the sauce. Oh the brunch menu (;what I ordered from is over ) we don't have the sauce now. ?? What!! Ok food was cooked well and seemed good. We seen her one time for water and that's it. I thought something was up when we showed up to maybe 7 people in the whole place. The online menu doesn't go with the actual menu at all. Not to sound weird or nothing but a bread knot ( pretzel ) is $18 but calamari is $15? Bread is more than a fishing boat and fisher men and shipping. And more than chicken?? So maybe it was just a bad day I will try again.

Bad, bad, bad service and experience. Matthew behind the bar was drunk and made things exceptionally uncomfortable. It took him forever to get around to me and there was only two other couples at the bar. He was too preoccupied with some young friends that came in just to talk. I ordered the cauliflower and a beer as a starter. The cauliflower was good. I finished my beer and sat without a drink for 20 plus minutes waiting for him to come by and ask if I wanted to order more, another drink etc. When he finally did I asked for an old fashion and the steak panini, he told me to hold on then asked a waiter if they "still have paninis" the waiter told him the kitchen was already closed and looked at me and said "the kitchen closed at 9" . It was 9:02. Matthew told me that it was "his bad" and it was only his "3rd day on the job". He then offered to make me the old fashion and it would be on the house. I declined because I was hungry and mainly came in to eat and would now have to find somewhere else to grab some food. I asked if I could just get the check so I can leave. He then pulls out a bottle of Makers Mark and pours me a double shot and says "this one's on the house" and pours himself one to drink with me. I ask him again for the check. He brings it over. It was $33. I put a $50 in it and wait. and wait. and wait. Went to the bathroom, came back, still no change. Then he takes my bill and goes back to talking to his friends. I wait another 5-10 minutes and then he comes back and hands me another bill for $23 and says that's what I owe. At this point I'm getting really uncomfortable and upset. I literally ask him "Are you ok?" and explained to him that he just took my bill with the $50 in it. He gets super flustered and goes back to the register to count out change. Dude was so drunk he had to recount $27 over and over. He brings me my change and says "Please don't tip me".

Also this whole time he is "training" someone and they are getting really uncomfortable too because they keep noticing his errors and telling him what he needs to do in the moment. Felt really bad for the girl he was training.

Very uncomfortable experience and I felt like he might have been trying to rip me off with two different bills. This happened on...

I was genuinely shocked by the pretentiousness and condescension exhibited at the Thompson and Twain of Crush and Brew. Having traveled extensively, I have never encountered such a dismissive and ignorant environment, especially in a place like Temecula, California.

Upon arrival, we were informed of a two to three-hour wait, only to be texted 24 minutes later. When seated, the staff claimed we had only reserved for two, despite our party of four, and accused us of "sneaking in" due to their own error (mind you, there were tables open and available the whole time we were seated) The bartender's hostility was unwarranted and unprofessional.

The drinks were subpar; the "Münchensen on Prime" tasted like burnt rubber, and requesting a simple Old Fashioned was met with resistance because it wasn't on the menu. Four drinks cost $70, which is exorbitant given the quality.

To top it off, the hostess informed us, "Last call is at 11:30, and we kick people out by 12/12:15," a statement that felt more like a threat than a courtesy.

After our experience, I spoke with the manager of the Crush and Brew, who also oversees the Thompson and Twain. When I mentioned our dissatisfaction, he offered a complimentary shot. Upon declining, he promptly turned away to take another order..from his waitress, which was wild because he was the one engaging and asking me questions on the experience and when I proceeded to be honest he effectively went on dismissing me because I wasn't there to get drunk and be taken advantage of...just visiting and enjoying our friends company.

The Thompson and Twain's attempt at exclusivity falls flat, resulting in an unwelcoming atmosphere that I would not recommend to anyone. The worst service I have ever experienced. From host to bartender to waitress to manager should all be looked into. Absolutely terrible and I never take the time out of my life to write something like this, but this was an absolute terrible experience and I'm shocked that something like this even exists. Do not waste time or money to be treated so...
