922 Place — Attraction in Tempe

Edit: I changed my review. The management is the shining star of 922. They do everything they can and are like friends to everyone.

Lived here since Aug/16: Unless you love the entire hallway to smell like pot, parties all around during finals week (and any other time of the week, especially weekends), homeless right in front of your door, 9 guest parking spaces that are always taken, cheap interior that looks terrible since it hasn't been updated in years, worse WiFi than I've ever experienced, horrible echo and loud noise from the (now shared) area from Rise.

If you need an air filter, light bulb, new brackets on the dishwasher door then they'll help you.

The security team is a joke. They are only there on the weekends, sit at the front desk and never do anything.

Everyone seems to be fine with the party life and pot stinking up the entire place since when you point it out they won't do anything about it. Don't be surprised to find people sleeping on your door, throwing up on the carpet in front of it, and no matter how many times you call CA on Call you have to find the maintenance guy yourself because "he'll call them after he gets back from starbucks", 8 hours after the first time I called him.

They have 3 security cameras that have about 8 pixels combined.

Don't put your bike on the racks in the garage because people get in and steal them and they don't have cameras in the garage.

Also, parking is horribly small.

People also love to rev their engines in the little shared area with Rise, as well as the noisy street known as Apache.

The thing that angered me most was when I moved in, after paying for 1/2 a month's rent but not being able to live there, and the place was disgustingly dirty. What did they do those 2 weeks? There was a mixture or margirita mix and beer on the bottom of the cabinets, everything had about an inch of dust (not 2 weeks worth) and the floor made your feet black after 1 step.

Before you live here, you should know that this place is nice living situation but the front office is AWFUL. They choose favorites and if you are not a favorite, expect to never get any service at all. Majority of the people who work at the front are very condescending. They do not get anything done. They act nice to your face but you hear the students who work at the front but also the managers talking badly about certain residents and problems that should be classified with the apartment and not shared to anyone. I have walked in many times to the main office to hear the managers telling their friends about other people who live there, VERY unprofessional. I am surprised that some of them still have jobs due to the amount of information they share and how they favor others. If it was any other job, they would have been fired along time ago. 922 will look for any reason to charge you for anything. They aren't paperless with their bills so with any IMPORTANT info that you want to receive, you're SOL if you don't see any papers on your door or someone rips it off. Even after asking for emails multiple times the Accountant, still doesn't bother to email you. She's very stand-offish as a matter of fact. I would recommend not living near campus at all because there aren't apartments near campus that will give you high quality living areas and a friendly staff. They just don't care about their customers. No one days. Move off campus, find a cheaper, nicer place elsewhere. This place is garbage. Oh, and don't even worry about getting your appliances fixed, I've put in 3 orders for the same thing. Don't be dumb. You have other, better options...
