I called this location just after landing at the airport for a short trip. They gave me an appointment time and assured me that I could get a pedi and full set within the hour and a half before my next appointment. We started about 10/15 minutes late due to arriving late after transportation issues and choosing a color/getting settled. I was told that we could still do everything and that someone could do my nails at the same time as the pedicure. While my pedi was being done, other techs finished with clients, took breaks, and even started on walk-ins. No one else came to service me. After an hour and 15/20 minutes, I was told there was no time to do my nails, which was already apparent. I paid $60 for this service, just to have the polish peel after about 5 hours.
To return to this location, I would’ve had to pay over $40 for an Uber, bringing my total to $100 just for a “deluxe” pedicure. I looked up other nail places and found a location closer to me thinking it was the same company, but later realized it wasn’t. Even though the Tempe location of this company didn’t remember seeing me, they transferred the amount for gel polish to the closer location so that I could get my nails repainted. That is outstanding customer service that isn’t required, but makes an impact. I’ll now be referring people to go there and will even go out of my way to make up for the amount that they lost catering to me.
I called Via nails to explain what happened and asked if I could get a partial refund just for the cost of the polish. I was told that it’s against policy and that the cost of my uber isn’t their fault/problem. I completely agree with them, but it doesn’t hurt to take someone’s situation into consideration. I didn’t want the money back for the pedicure or the tip. Private businesses are able to make decisions on a case by case basis and I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask. This won’t be my last trip to Arizona, but it will be my last time...
Read moreI FOUND MY SPOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I came here Friday 1/31/25 and got my old dip color removed and got a new color in dip and white gel toes and eyebrow waxing. As a newbie to Arizona, I was trying to find a nail shop that was just "IT" others were cool but they weren't "IT". The minute I walked in, I was greeted by Tina, who did my toes and she was so nice and did such a great job on my toes! I picked a color that I thought I wanted but she quickly noticed that it was lighter than I thought and suggested white on my toes, which I wanted on my nails. That was a great "attention to detail" moment. Then Kathy did my nails and we chatted about everything Arizona and things to do and eat around the Phoenix metro and much more. She was so sweet and she also did my eyebrows.
The atmosphere as nice as well! They have free drinks, snacks and an awesome playlist!!!!
Thank you so much Tina & Kathy for having great customer service! Via Nails and Spa has gained a new customer and yes, I have already bragged about...
Read moreLet me just say… this nail shop is THAT place!! I got my nails done by Seven and I am OBSESSED — he seriously understood the assignment and brought my 90s vision to life perfectly. His attention to detail is unreal, and the whole experience was smooth, creative, and honestly fun.
Cathy also does amazing work — I saw a few of her sets and she’s just as talented. Between the vibe, the quality, and the consistency, you really can’t go wrong with either of them. She did my mom’s nails and they are beautiful.
Oh, and let’s not forget — the prices are so reasonable, especially for the level of skill and care you’re getting. Trust me, if you want fire nails without breaking the bank, this is the spot. Already planning my...
