Update...... I plan on never going back to this store. They're prices have went up a lot. But my main concern is that I used self checkout. My total was 53.07. I put 27.07 in cash. Then paid for the 26 dollar balance with a card. Well the register took 53.07 off the card even thought I put cash in. The receipt did not acknowledge the cash. The register displayed balance 26 but took 53. It took 45 minutes for the manager to watch the video of me putting the cash into the register. Then she says it was spitting back at me. I don't know if she wanted to keep my money or what she was doing. Finally she let the girl at the service window give me my 27.07 back in cash. I was starting to walk out of the store and the manager walks up to us and starts accusing us of not paying for the things that we bought. Which is basically impossible at the store. Going through self-checkout you can't bring up the next thing until you put what you just rang up onto the baggage area. You can't put anything in the baggage area if it hasn't been rang up. So for her to have the audacity after making me wait that long (45 minutes) to get my money back, that was my money, then to turn around and accuse me of being a thief I don't need to shop in a story with management like that.
District manager Kyle was there. He was great. Helpful, positive attitude. The meat dept was helpful but kinda reluctant to help The cashier was kinda not helpful with sale items and wrang up an extra item that was almost $5. Watch your receipts and sale rules. ie: must by 4 for the sale price. Etc. Produce dept looked great. Produce employee was a young man. He had a great attitude. I made a small mess. I told him that I was sorry. He said no problem, thanks for letting me know. Then I grabbed a bag of potatoes. They all came sliding off of the display. I tried to stop them the best I could. Another customer helped me as well. Then the produce guy had came back out. I let him know what happened. 1 bag had landed on the floor. The others looked like they could end up there with the slightest movement. Again, he said that's fine. Happens often. Thanks for letting me know. So 1 great employee and district manager, I ok meat dept employee and one...
Read moreBecause my husband is an at-risk heart patient, we've been using curbside pick-up since April. Our shoppers have been Marquereshia, Maritza, Alyson, Nickolas and Robert; Chris has helped Alyson put the groceries in our SUV. Please forgive me if I've left anyone out. Everyone that has shopped for us, has done so as if it were for their parents or grandparents. They are all friendly, sweet people who go out of their way to shop for what we need and are an asset to any company. I don't know why these wonderful people would want to shop for us, but my husband and I are so grateful and appreciative. I love the website, as well as that the shoppers can call or text me with questions and I can call or text them; this alone makes the curbside shopping experience far superior to Walmart. Our experience has been phenomenal. Thank you so much for your tireless efforts...
Read moreOk pepper lovers. It took me months of asking, to get fresh cayenne peppers added as a regular item. Your Welcome! I donât know of any other store where you can purchase these hot peppers fresh. They are fairly high on Scoville heat measurement but I am not learned on the topic. I know itâs not anywhere close to the Ghost pepper or Carolina Reaper. Perfect as a garnish to homemade sandwiches, hamburgers, really any meal that doesnât have its own heat. Chop them with tomatoes and onions for hot Tom. Ok, so this is not a pepper review, Super1 Foods (owned by Brookshires Family) is a very economical grocery. Not comparable to Sams Club or Costco but still budget minded. I donât buy a lot of beef here but their pork and chicken selection is vast. Think...
