Entitled/Lazy? Either way consistently terrible customer service. "Getting out"- oriented mentality. This is the third or fourth time I've come to the store to buy something, probably the fifth or sixth time to get help +/- buy (last 2-3 yrs). The store never has time to help you. i've been with Apple since the very beginning, and I've never run into something like this... the cool, funky of Apple is long gone and people are needing to get home to their glasses of Merlot, cat and TV. I've started using other locations but don't always have time to drive out of town. I have an unusual schedule which is not predictable and I cannot schedule a Genius Bar appointment simply to *buy a new iphone*!! [and I don't think that is necessary to buy something from the store ... Yes, I made it very clear that I was here to buy an iPhone] Isn't that what you are here for, to sell things? Maybe even HELP your customers?? ) I simply wanted to buy an iPhone, the model of which *I* know (but they do not). i've driven to the mall with my tight schedule arriving at the store and I walked into the store 21 min before closing. Instead of being met by a helpful (let alone pleasantšŸ˜„) sales person, I am met by "Ame" (maybe rest of her name was scratched off her badge)... somewhat perturbed, sounding annoyed that I have a showed up Ame asks me *what I want*? I tell her that I would just like to buy an iPhone. She tells me that it's 19 minutes before closing (been standing there for a few minutes already) and they are having THE only two last associated selling [last?!] phones". Isn't just simply making a sale, the easiest thing in the world to do with Apple? There are 8 emplyees stand around. Apple have you become too big for your britches or is this just a problem with the Apple store at the struggling Oaks mall?? I'm Going to Santa Monica or Simi next time. Entitled/Lazy? Yes. I sat on a lovely couch here at the Oaks. I waited 15 minutes --(just to watch the situation unfold— yes I am being pissy and trite— sue me, I'm human. Bit this same story is retold in different forms at this location over and over— I'm sure I'm not the only one. There are EIGHT Managers, associates, sales people etc (does the customer really care what your level of rank is?) ... standing around doing nothing for the last 30 minutes!! Yes, at 10 minutes past the hour their doors are still open with no customers! maybe back in the day when Apple first came out it was cool to be working at the Apple store... but folks those days are gone and you have to just do your work, and do it well. Try.

I came here with my cousin to purchase an Apple Watch cellular. She lives in Peru and she’s in a workout program to help her prolong her life as she’s suffering from a malign tumor. We were helped by two wonderful ladies. Sierra was kind and awesome practicing her Spanish with my cousin. I’m giving it 2 stars because when we were about to finish setting up the watch, we RUDELY got interrupted by ā€œNazā€. He stop Sierra from helping us to take care of someone who was spending more money than us. By then our watch begins to erase everything. When we try to get help, NAZ was strongly talking to Sierra. Sadly, Apple Store doesn’t practice inclusivity. It’s 2023 people… Set an example!

I am absolutely appalled by the treatment I received tonight. I visited to upgrade my phone, and while I was in the middle of the process with a specialist, a woman—who claimed to be the manager—interrupted not once, but twice, asking the employee assisting me to help other customers instead. I can’t think of any reason for this other than her blatant racism and bigotry. It felt like I was being pushed aside just because I’m Middle Eastern. The way she looked down on me and my friends was both disgusting and unacceptable. I will be reporting this incident to corporate.

Let me start with the caveat that every tech and worker there was extremely helpful, friendly, and efficient. No problems with the service provided... once it is provided. That being said I've never experienced something like what happened this week. I was having battery related issues and my first visit I was told I needed to update (did nothing but that's standard protocol). Came back with a walk in next week for a charging issue and was told an hour wait. Long but understandable. After an hour and a half no response so I asked where I was at and I was told there were 7 people ahead of me still. No idea why they'd say an hour and make it 2 hours but it could be a bad day. So two days later I come back, hour wait they said again. After 45 minutes I get a text saying I'm up soon. I wait another half hour and ask and they say there's still a bunch of people in front of me. Distraught I tell them that they are consistently well short of their estimates and that they are screwed up. I'm told to wait around I won't be long. Another half hour (2 hours total) someone randomly walks up and helps me. He was awesome.

Additionally while I was waiting I heard one lady complaIning about her appointment not being kept and another family that was waiting for an hour and no service. So it's a complete screw up of a store.

Long story short, lied to several times, wasted 4 hours of my life total, and there's no Apple customer service number for corporate. You're literally at the mercy of the store with no recourse. You'd think when you pay thousands of dollars for increasingly average technology you'd have at least half assed service. Will never buy Apple again, whole company is on a...

I had a I Phone 5 that after 1 short year the battery lifted the touch screen, amazing poor quality for such a high tech device, Apple store had an exchange policy that expired 1 week earlier, 2 weeks later the Apple store exchanged it for a new I Phone 5 at no cost next problem was all contacts were lost. 2 months later I purchased a I Phone 6 plus and 2 months passed I attempted to change email as My G mail was hacked and frozen 6 hours later my I phone 6 plus is s paper weight frozen like my Gmail account ! Apple support is so far behind the apps I have called 3 times asking about the health app and nobody has ever used it ? I really miss my dumb flip phone about now Hmm Low technology doesn't pretend to do much, however the phone and camera do work forever ! I will go to the Oaks Apple store without a appointment and see if anyone canceled today. Every attempt I have made to change my gmail is like a rip tide taking the iPhones use away from me. i Phone Security is ridiculous ! It needs to be user friendly an staff is sometimes helpfull out of 6 visits I'd have to say I rate staff level of service at 50/50 not what Apple should be at. I rate Verizon at 90/10 worse than Apple two great companies in bad need of help. AT&T store is right at the bottom as well. I guess if enough unhappy customers complain maybe something will change, maybe I'm totally fed up ! What I need is a Miracle soon.I hate the phone and apple support, the key to success is product knowledge that Apple staff seem not to have ! Regretfully, Henry Good News is the i PHONE 6 has now acted perfectly easily switching from Ebay, Craigs List, Gmail like never before ! I really see it needed a break in...
