This place was a huge disappointment. I took my five-year-old twins and about 20 minutes into their play my son got his head stuck in an area where the air blow ball gun area was. That is not visible to the parents but my daughter came running down hysterically crying and screaming that my son had his head stuck and I went to the staff and said how do I get up there?! they just kinda looked at me without telling me and I said can I try to get up there his head is stuck and again the untrained Teenage staff didn’t know what to say or do so I went up and squeezed my way through the small ladder and I’m at smaller frame barely was able to get thru and my sons head was difficult to get out And very traumatizing for us all. we were all crying and when we all came down to get something to drink and calm down not one staff member asked how my son was or what happened or anything. They didn’t seem to care and many didn’t speak good English. I was also not informed of what all was included since it was our first time and the walkabout obstacle area said closed on it then I saw some kids on it and my daughter wanted to do it so she did it and had fun but then by the time she was done my son wanted to do it but the guy was nowhere to be found. we were only about an hour and a half into the 3 hours of playtime and they said it was closed. My son was heartbroken. I asked them what time they closed and they never gave me a straight answer except the guy said he’s not tall enough anyway and actually he was 3 inches under the height requirement but my son and daughter are twins and the same height maybe half an inch apart at most so why did you let my daughter in but not my son? lastly the whole place was dirty and not sanitary at all and there was no good seating area for adults to see their kids play. So loud and chaotic compared to other places with even more kids. I Witnessed 2 adults arguing loudly about balls being thrown and getting hit but it’s specifically the game that is set up for them to hit the wall with them and they are the lightest balls ever- so be playful and occasionally take a soft touch of a ball or move away from the ball pit. Set an example for your kids to see how you can rationally handle a situation with a stranger not angry aggression in a ball pit! not much to be said for the staff that was nearby witnessing even after the woman demanded to be heard that she was being hit by the soft balls repeatedly. The food was also terrible - we had the pizza and it was barely touched by my hungry kids and I had a bite of it-it was really gross. my son also got hurt by another kid jumping on him in the ball pit huge ball pit and my son was the only one in it. No parents around to direct the 2-3 year old in their rough play. although my kids mostly had fun I will not be taking them again- it does not meet safety standards at all...
Read moreMy 4 year old loved Wiggle Land! Its been a year since he's been able to experience an indoor playground and he had a blast. Masks on 100% of the time, and the fact that it was Opening Day gave us confidence to check it out. Temperatures were checked before allowing play. Indoor dining restrictions were just lifted, with occupany capacity limitations that Jason (whom I spoke) was very well aware of and in complete compliance with. Jason also told me that the staff sprays down the entire play area nightly with disinfectant. Jason had the "concern for quality of product" that you love to see in a business owner and my hope and expectation is that Wiggle Land does well.
There is a smaller play area scaled for smaller kids, really fun and interactive. Lots of padded climbing objects and colors and shapes. And the massive indoor play structure is amazing. Well designed so parents can get around as well if guidence and oversight is needed. Warning: The feature slide is fast! And it's harder on parents' bums than it is on little bums. Super fun, lots of laughs.
One point I might mention is that Jason and his team need help. Part-time weekend work is available as of this review. And they would greatly benefit from a cheerleader near the playground reminding kids to pull masks back over their nose, or how to get from top to bottom, etc. Also, watching for wee ones that might have broken free from parental grasp that can squeeze through small gaps. (Parents, respect the site rules, too!) There's a small but significant gap at the front, white climbing tube, 2nd level, located between ball-pit and big slide that a toddler (who shouldn't be allowed free upon anyway) could squeeze through.
Also, I wish I had gone hungry because the food looked realy good. Next time we will sample the menu (which has plans for expansion, I'm told).
All told, my family had a wonderful day. Next time I'll be checking out the VR rooms. (Parent's note: some content not entirely child appropriate. But certainly geared for teens and up.) Wiggle Land was a huge success and we can't wait to go back. Let's all be conscientious and judicious with our mask wearing, personal spacing in public and with visitors so we can let this pandemic pass by. There's lots of fun to be had at...
Read moreIt's an indoor play place. Plenty of climbing, sliding, crawling, running, etc. We attended a birthday party for a 6 year old, and there were at least 3 other parties booked at the same time. This place was packed with loud, busy kids. I took a little walk around and checked the place out, the food menu, and party pricing. My daughter (6 years old) had fun at the party and asked if she could go back when she's tall enough to climb the obstacle course. But the rest of the place doesn't have her begging to go back, so that tells me she didn't love the place. She also mentioned that it was difficult to find her way to the slide until another kid showed her the way. The arcade area was minimal games more suited for teens or adults, I would guess. The food menu is odd for a kid place. For me, the admission price doesn't match up with the amount of fun my kiddo had (or didn't have), and therefore, we likely won't return unless invited to another party. Even the party packages felt overpriced for what you get. In fact, an employee came in and started cleaning up the party room 15 minutes before it was time to be out of the room. That's very off-putting. Cleaning should be after the reservation time ends, not while a few kids are still eating and parents are packing up their items. And lastly, the ball pit area, like so many ball pits, smelled a...
