I don't know why more people don't shop here. It is clean and the folks are friendly. I like this location more than the one off TV Highway, but that is because the parking lot here isn't full of potholes! I always get friendly service everywhere and the stores are very clean. The cashier will give your kids a little bag of animal crackers and that makes it their favorite store.
If you've never been to a Franz Outlet you should try it! The bread is good. They have aisles of fresh stuff for cheaper than the stores, and the back wall is lined with carts of discounted bread and other products like rolls, bagels, even snack cakes and pastries sometimes. The discounted items are usually close to their dates or may have not been made quite properly, I noticed last week some of the 26 grain thin slice loaves (my favorite) were not risen as much as they usually are. They still tasted just fine, made fine sandwiches and toast, but they're a little smaller than usual. I normally buy a weeks worth of bread and freeze it, then take out what I need each day. I have a bunch of kids and we go through a loaf a day, so being able to get 4 loaves of good, whole-grain bread that we like for the cost of 1 at the regular store is a pretty big deal! When you spend $10 you get a free item, and if you spend more you get more! Check for mold on the free bread. The only time I got moldy stuff was from the free cart, and that was only once! Don't let that...

Part breads, part grocery store, part mini-mart.
Franz sells at least 50 different discounted glutinous items here, which are, for the most part, very fresh with good expiration dates.
You may be surprised to find popcorn, granola bars, honey, jams, a refrigerated convenience food case with milk, cheese, water, soda, etc. It's got a bit of a mini Mart thing going on, so if you're in a hurry to get milk, bread, or a sweet treat and get on home, choose this place over a big box store. It's super convenient, and if you spend over $10 you get to pick a free item from a special rack (aka freezer bread for me!)
They were selling loaves of organic whole wheat bread for 99¢ the other day. You never know what you might find when you pop...
Read moreGreat place, worth stopping by often because of the specials. Right now, peach cobbler bread! Be sure to get a loyalty card, every $50 and you get some generous perks. The family has been going to another location for 40 years. Lots more than just bread, you can see in the pictures: jams, desserts, dinner sausage, drinks, chips, other condiments. Support local, check it out! UPDATE - this place is not supposed to be 5 star atmosphere or food. It's an outlet and some of the foods are older so choose wisely. They changed their rewards program I added a picture for it, it's easier than remembering to bring a...
