Black Friday currently about maybe 9:30 I come to Nordstrom and I was being ignored everywhere and keep in mind I had money to spend I was informed online that they are open until 10 to 10:30 so I thought I'd at least an hour to shop and be comfortable well first I went to the jewelry section the lady was being a complete b* acted like I was not important didn't even try to sell me anything yeah nice customer service and then let's not get started on the lady that let me oh so nice Willie try on a blouse because we were supposed to leave at 9:50 and while I was writing it on at least three different times I got I got very aggressive knocks on the door asking more like stating is everything all right in a really angry tone so I hurry up try on the blouse and I tried on a pair of slacks and I go to pay for it and I'm just getting the snobbiest looks ever this one lady helps me and she even asked me " if I'm okay" okay now this might seem nice but she said it in a very condescending like you're on drugs kind of way... And this is after the intercom said if any Shoppers are still in the area please call security at 140 something something something and like I said she asked "are you okay" no actually I'm not okay my mother actually passed away two days ago and I was looking for something decent to wear to her funeral. And what's really funny is when I first was going to try on the clothing they told me they don't participate in Black Friday sales it's like why the f are you in the mall if you don't support Black Friday sales you don't support sales you don't support actually help me out the middleman the working class only the Upper Crust and if that's not bad enough as I'm walking out because he's mine at the escorted out because they lock their doors it's really not even 10 yet there's these two very manly looking security women guards and one of them had the audacity to ask me where you in the sporting section or the sportswear section I look at her and I asked do I look like I was... I was waiting so patiently walking Pitter pattering hoping that she would just tackle me or something because believe me she had that look on her face so I could sue the f** pants off of all of them and of course unfortunately she didn't but that will experience today Black Friday of November 2018 is the worst I've ever experienced in my life at any store and I would suggest anybody to boycott Nordstrom's so they can close down as Sears and many other stores are starting to
Ps: Could it be all so because I'm not white??
And Nordstrom at Washington Square Mall if you have the decency you will make the up to me because I left the store in tears and I will seriously go to my friends about this and dissuade them from ever shopping there again
PS: big boss lady gave me the run-around and offered me nothing in the form of a true apology or anything to make up for how I was treated I'm sure those girls...
Read moreIf you are ever in the fragrance department at Nordstrom, I HIGHLY recommend asking for Chrisâ she will absolutely elevate your shopping experience to another planet you didnât even know existed.
My partner and I had the pleasure of working with Chris (aka âChristineâ) this evening. I can honestly say she is like no other sales associate we have ever encountered. From the moment we walked in, her warmth and genuine enthusiasm stood out. She didnât just treat us as a customerâshe took the time to truly understand our preferences with a level of expertise that was both impressive and thoughtful.
Chris is incredibly knowledgeable about fragrances, and her ability to explain the nuances of different brands made the entire experience educational and enjoyable. Key word, âENJOYABLE.â We all know how annoying sales can be especially when you are just there to browse or get in and get out. However, Chris will leave you with an experience that is not an annoying sales pitch. Sheâs understanding, calm, kind, and patient. Sheâs excited about the people she encounters and little does she know how lucky we feel as customers to be able to cross paths with her đ
Chris is not trying to shove a fragrance in your face. Instead, she is passionate about finding the right scent that fits your taste. Her recs were spot-on, and my partner and I both left with fragrances that we LOVE and this is all thanks to Chrisâ personalized service. She knew the assignment and executed well.
Chrisâ energy and aura made us feel comfortable and confident in our fragrance selections. If it wasnât for her, the chances of us walking out with a perfume were little to none.
Donât waste your time trying to work with someone else. Ask for Chris if you are in the fragrance department at Nordstrom in Washington Square and if she isnât there that day, wait because I am confident no one there will meet your expectations but her and no one else will help you find the fragrance of your dreams!
Thank you Chris and thank you Nordstrom for hiring a phenomenal employee! Give her a...
Read moreEnded up picking up a $400 bottle of PDM Carlisle and had this wonderful woman with a French accent help me. I must say she was extremely kind and such a pleasure to work with. After my purchase, I decided to peruse through other fragrances and was completely in awe on how much they carried. Living in McMinnville I only have the luxury of descriptions of fragrances off of YouTube and fragranica so it was such a treat to be able to get some samples. I must say over the past couple years I have sort of a turned into quite the fragrance collector, so this was such a great opportunity to get acquainted with so many new and wonderful fragrances. Also I do not want to forget about the woman that worked behind the Lebo counter. She was very was also extremely helpful and a pleasure to converse with. Unfortunately the silver haired gentleman that was in the men's fragrance department was not all that helpful and when I requested if I could kindly get a sample of two fragrances that smell wonderful, he refused to give me a second sample. Even though I explained to him that this is a rare opportunity since I live so far away he told me he's only allowed to give one sample which I found to be not the case at all and was very disappointed with how I was treated. I mean I'm not a bum off the street looking for a handout, I just paid close to $400 for a bottle of cologne. Have some respect .. geez! Honestly that left a bad taste in my mouth... but I did go to the other counters and ALL the other employees were all extremely helpful and not stingy like that other guy. After wearing these samples and giving them a test drive I will most DEFINITELY be coming back, but NOT to the men's department. Also I'd like to add, over the past week or so my experience each time I try to call the men's fragrance department on inquiries of their in stock fragrances is that they never pick up the phone which is frustrating. I mean serious, 25 minutes of ringing and no answer is unacceptable!! Nordstrom's please do something about that department, your customers...
