TWO TIMES I HAD asked the store employees to reserve (one time in November right before thanksgiving, and once on february 1rst).
they failed to do so, and sold my item to another buyer. so what does "hold it for 24 hrs" mean to them?
when i left my phone number, name , they should at least have the courtesy to reserve the items. Instead, they sell it out to someone else, that they have 0 on hand both times
Horrible communication. Manager needs to have additional training. LOD (i believe shift supervisor) is very rude. Her name is Leana. She did not once apologize for the issue. The first time she failed to apologize , and the second time she blamed it on me and saying that I'm the only customer with this issue. Other employees actually said this happened quite often, and apologized. Leana pretty much told me that I can bring my business elsewhere.
In the middle of this conflict , I had to tell them the solution: "check other stores in the area, and see if they have in stock". One of the employee went about doing so, by checking their machines and making calls. Leana went to the back of the counter takes a selfie in the backroom. I know this is absurd , but this is actually what happened. This just shows what kind of training for customer service.
I wouldn't be so irate if I didn't have to drive 40 minutes each way to come to this store since they are the only store that has them in the Kansas City area.
Avoid this store if you have to. I love Target. I have Red Card, have more than 200$ last year in savings (from the 5%). Convert that into real money i spent in Target over all, that's around $4000 - $5000 and the shift supervisor wants me to bring my business elsewhere?

Right before Christmas at that! The 3 people I spoke too were saying policy this and policy that. I don't care, fix your website, this has nothing to do with me and something I did. Corporate was just as useless as the people I spoke with at the service desk. Everyone was "a matter of fact". I just want my money back, so I can get my son his Christmas gift!!! Never shopping at target again. So if anyone decides to buy Christmas gifts from Target on their website, you run the risk of what happened to me, happening to you, and they'll tell you there's nothing they can do about it. Sorry for the rant, I'm so disappointed in this store. I spends hundreds there a week and I will literally never shop there again. Even if it was the last store on earth that had what I needed. They knew what they were doing. During black history month you would want to walk in and see it at the front to know they are allies but clearly THIS store isn’t. Whoever the General Manager of this store is needs to be fired or have some type of diversity training. I want the the GM, and all the Managers of this store, to know what the people of Topeka SAY DAILY about your location. LOTS of POC in the community want to work here HOWEVER it seems the HIRING Manager(s) only hire white people. We see very little representation of POC working for this specific location yet lots of POC apply, and it’s the same OLD story about how they hardly hire POC.
