Chris Silver Jewelry — Attraction in Town of Brookhaven

My husband and I visited this shop not long ago, excited to explore new places near our new home and maybe buy something small as a souvenir to remember it by. Unfortunately, this experience turned into one of the worst memories we’ve had since moving here.

When my husband politely asked if there was a better price available (something any customer can normally ask), the owner reacted in a very unprofessional and disrespectful way. Instead of giving us a simple “no” or handling it politely, he made fun of my husband, told us he didn’t need new customers, and even said things that were meant to make us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

We were shocked and disappointed at how we were treated. As new customers in the area, we expected at least basic respect, but instead we were made to feel bullied and insulted. This was the opposite of good customer service.

The sad part is that the owner could have handled this situation very differently—just a professional and kind response would have left us feeling good and encouraged us to come back and buy more. But instead, we walked away with a very negative memory.
