This was actually my first time placing an online order and going to pick it up in store. That being said, the woman at the cash register was BEYOND rude and completely unhelpful to me. I wasn't sure how it worked or where I go to pick the order up, if I hsdnto wait in line with the other shoppers or not. Jist asking I got a nasty attitude from her! I had no problem waiting in line, I was planning on shopping and making an instore purchase anyway as well. So I gathet what I wanted additional to my order and waited. She calls me down and then was again rude! Interupted what I was saying, condescended me for no reason over explaining I had to wait for someone else to open thr thing behind her thrn cut that off and rudely told me to go "over there" as she throws her hands to point at the rack and search for my order...which wasnt there it was unclear to anyone why... turns out it was behind her locked up and she did have a key... she opens it grans my stuff and rudely says Look at that IT WAS HERE and slams it down on the counter and tells me Thank You!?!... very uncomfortable shopping experience. Read moreI went here to drop off a UPS package at Michaels . The older lady with glasses didn’t really know how to work the UPS scanner and the Indian female coworker walked over to help her. Everything seemed ok when I left because I received a confirmation email from Michaels . This was a time sensitive item and I haven’t had problems dropping off packages at UPS drop off points.
Fast forward, there’s no movement in the system and it shows it was never picked up by UPS despite me calling and Michaels confirming that the UPS guy came to pick it up. I called UPS and they confirmed there’s no scan and it hasn’t been picked up. I called Michaels AGAIN and the Indian female hung up the phone on me. I called again and the same lady I dropped off the package with answered and put me on hold while she looked for my package. She then told me it was picked up today and their system is slow and to wait .
I don’t recommend this store whatsoever. This was a time sensitive item that I trusted in their care and now it’s lost. Why advertise to be a Ups drop off point if your store...
Read moreHUGE store in StonyBrook by SmithHaven Mall. Walked in to look for magnets. Simple, right? Well apparently not. NO STAFF to be found except two cashiers and one employee by the picture framing section. While I was there THREE customers asked ME if I worked there! I TRIED to help myself and eventually had to CALL the store on my cellphone to ask where to find the magnets! I was told Aisle 53. Problem solved, right? Apparently NOT! Aisle 53 was there alright, filled with T-SHIRT stuff. Hmmm! Called the store again seeing as STILL no employees to help. Asked for the Manager and waited. And waited. And WAITED!!! Called and spoke to Samantha who eventually walked over to meet me by Aisle 53. Found magnets in different aisle! Went to pay up front and saw the long line with now FOUR cashier's! Oh and one of the "cashiers" was apparently the STORE MANAGER "Cara". Nice staffing situation! She was extremely UNSYMPATHETIC to the knowledge that I had to actually ring the store to get help.
