We were hesitant to go with Wren due to the poor reviews. Boy I wish we would have listened. Prior to purchasing, we discussed the concerns of the online reviews with the Commack store manager Janine who assured us that she would assist should any issues arise. Well they did and then some!! It began with delivery. Our wood floor was scratched & dented due to the delivery guys dragging heavy pieces. As the kitchen was being assembled there was 4 doors and 1 drawer that came with edges dented or other imperfections. This was something mentioned many times in previous reviews and it was totally accurate. We only have 13 cabinets total so to have this percentage come with issues is ridiculous. The quality control in the factory is extremely poor and not up basic standards! We were assigned Destiny as our customer service support person for the project. Destiny was extremely unresponsive, unconcerned, and unapologetic regarding our issue with the floor damage and cabinet replacement. Her customer service skills were nonexistent. Again, this complaint is mentioned many times in previous reviews and is completely accurate of our experience! This is not the type of service you would expect when you spent 10s of thousands of dollars and are having these types of issues. We then involved Commack store manager Janine who was much more responsive and supportive with trying to get our issue resolved however the issues went over her head as far as what she could do for us. We were very happy with Boss Contracting who did the installation. We found them to do a beautiful job and they have great communication and follow up. The next problem was when they were installing the crown moulding on the cabinets, we realized it was a different color. So that needed to be reordered. We had to take additional time off of work to be home for the replacement pieces to be installed. However, the crown moulding was still the wrong color!!!! We received the 4th delivery of the wrong color crown moulding (the 3rd delivery went to the wrong address and we never received it). Can you imagine 4 deliveries of the wrong color?!! I am not sure how these people cannot get this right! We also had issues with the installation of the countertop and the manager of installation at Northeast Quartz had to come himself to our home twice to try to get the issue resolved and it is still not what was promised it would look like. They came 3 times total for countertop installation!! It has been constant dealing with all this crap!! We now have a regional manager Renee involved who also exemplifies Wren’s nonexistent customer service and lack of follow up, care and concern for all the problems we are experiencing. We were told to get 3 estimates for repair of the floor which we did. All 3 companies said they would not repair the floor because it needs to be sanded down and the color won’t match the existing floor so the entire floor needs to be redone!! Not one of them would do a repair to that area only. But Wren & Renee are saying they don’t want to use these estimates and we need to find others which is totally ridiculous! This regional representative Renee does not respond to texts or phone calls for days at a time which is totally inappropriate and unprofessional. He refused to provide us with his supervisor’s information. We are getting nowhere with getting our issues resolved and kitchen completed. We had to take off additional time from our jobs so workers can come back to fix all of these problems. We’ve been on the phone with all of these parties for hours at a time trying to get all of these issues resolved. The level of aggravation and frustration is unreal!! And the worst part is no one (other than the store manager Janine at Commack) has been apologetic or showed any real motivation or concern to get these issues resolved! This whole process has been a nightmare and I could never recommend...
Read moreMy wife and I hired Wren Kitchen in Selden New York to provide a complete kitchen. ( Cabinets, counter top and new appliances provided by Home Depot).
Wren Kitchen required a payment in full, approx. $18,000, prior to starting. That was our first mistake. The four week process started on September 2, 2025 and finally finished October 4th.
Wren sent a team to our home to template the area for cabinet fabrication. Two different teams showed up to take measurements. Neither team spoke English and needed Google translate to speak with us. We quickly learned that although they boast of fabricating everything in the US, all the labor is outsourced and un-managed.
When the cabinets were delivered, the team apparently missed our air conditioning vent in the ceiling. The cabinets were in direct conflict. Wren did not handle the situation and we were forced to hire an outside contractor for $ 420 to move the vent, sheet rock the area and paint the ceiling. Wren eventually rein burst us for that. The insulting part was they initially denied the vent was the previously installed and forced us to provide detailed before and after photos.
After the cabinets were delivered and installed, a separate vendor came to take measurements for the counter top fabrication. Once again, non English speaking team came making it almost impossible to communicate. The counter tops were installed a week later when we learned the cabinet installer didn't follow the blue print requiring the counter top to be removed, the cabinets to be altered and the counter top modified and reinstalled. Total chaos and at no point was Wren of any assistance. We were lucky enough to be introduced to a customer service representative in PA named Frankie who helped us most of the way. ( Remember this is supposed to be a one stop shop )
After the appliances were installed, we were informed that Wren doesn't complete the final tie in of sink drain or electrical hook ups.
Our last endeavour was the back splash. 3 trip and 2 templates later, another non speaking team came only to find it didn't fit. The back splash was removed and cut in our drive way leaving white residue all over the grass and the black top. On the last day, they realised they could not install the faucet as the cabinet supports were in conflict and needed to order brackets.
Ultimately the project finished first week of October 2025. Meanwhile my wife and i had no kitchen or running water requiring us to eat out daily for two weeks. I asked Wren if they were covering the cost. Stay tuned- no response yet.
My wife and I have documented called with Wren Customer service exceeding 5 hours during this process. We experienced well over a dozen site visits with absolutely no Wren field guidance. The only assistance we received was from the Wren customer service team. Not always the same representative, but it was the only assistance available.
The Selden store team were totally worthless. They booked the deal, received their commission and went on with life. Hardly could get them to return a call unless we physically went to the store.
Our overall review of the process is a zero. If you cant do it yourself, go to Lowes or Home depot. At the very least you will get assistance and a company to stand behind their product and services.

Read moreI needed to redesign my kitchen as part of a larger renovation project for a home my boyfriend and I purchased two years ago. I decided to check out of the new Wren Kitchens showroom in Selden since it was something different and frankly because it was new. I am glad as I met their friendly staff and was introduced to Richard Miola, the designer who would be designing my kitchen. He was able to guide me through the showroom and explain how their operation works. He had someone come to my house and measure the space and two days later it was all uploaded to their computer. We picked out the cabinets and other items and got started. I was pretty impressed with the way it all transpired, they had an interesting set up where my boyfriend and I were sat on a couch looking at a TV that was showing the kitchen come to life in 3D right in front of us as Richard put the design together. It was pretty cool. Once that was done, we were able to interact with the kitchen in virtual reality in a section of their Showroom. I do not play video games (my boyfriend does) so this was really impressive for me and it got me excited. It made the kitchen come to life for me, I am not a visual type of person and wasn't sure how everything would come together with the colors I selected (BLUE) so this was reassuring as I had a real idea of how this was going to look having walked around in it and then sent high quality renders of the design to my email. We decided to move forward and I am glad we did. We were in a bit of a rush to get the materials so our current contractor would be able to install the items as part of the larger home renovation project (we also had a new Master Bathroom and Powder Room done). Everything arrived at our house probably around a month after my final meeting in the showroom. My contractor was very happy with how clear the instructions given to us were and the fact that the cabinets arrived to the house fully built so he only had to pop on the legs put it all into place. They had reps from the countertop company come through once everything was in position to plan out the counter, they came back around two weeks later and installed the countertop themselves (even though I had my own contractor, the installation of the counter was included in the price). Overall I am very happy with the whole experience. My kitchen looks great and I thought the entire process was thorough for sure but also kinda fun. Richard was incredibly animated and had some cool ideas for how we could better utilize the space. I saw some negative reviews on google but was very impressed with the showroom so I really was not sure what to do. Ultimately, I took the chance and I am glad I did. We are very happy. I would recommend Wren Kitchens to a...
