Visited the Clifton Park Regal Cinema on June 30 excited to see Incredibles 2. Walk into the lobby looking for assistance at the box office....nobody around. I exit and wait in line. I had to approach the worker who couldn't be bothered to look up from his cellphone to greet me. I asked to redeem an e-ticket. The body behind the glass looked at me blindly and stated I had to go inside to the door person. I advised him that last time I had e-tickets ( two weeks ago ) the box office scanned my cell phone and asked what movie I wanted to see. So I walked to the kind gentleman redeeming the tickets and he turned me back to the box office, as expected. I walked back outside to the box office and got into the other line as the first employee was not trying to provide any kind of customer service. Reach the line to again redeem e-tickets. This individual told me the same thing, I had to print the ticket...again I referred back to two weeks prior where I went to see a movie and a customer focused employee scanned and entered the manual code for the ticket and printed the stub. The second employee asked for a manger to come by. The manager apporaches and asked what she can do to assist. At this point my family and I just wanted to see the movie which had begun 10 min prior. I, again, explained the situation. The manager was not able to accommodate us and print us some tickets. She spouted some line about " not be able to scan tickets and how they aren't supposed to do it". She did not have a valid answer when asked why the inconsistency in procedures. She was bloviating about how " they need a printed ticket for auditing." Printed ticket for auditing?? What is the difference between them printing a ticket or us presenting a ticket in terms of auditing? Either way they will have a paper copy!! I'm not sure why the staff members today were so hostile and rude as well as completely unwilling to provide quality customer service so we could take our two year old to a Pixar movie. Needless to say we weren't able to watch the movie. The lack of empathy has dissuaded me from ever returning. Good luck families, as a loyal customer of Regal Cinema for many years I've never been more disappointed and my perception of this...
Read moreRecently moved and this is now our closest Regal, and we have unlimited. For the most part I do like this theater. The seats don’t recline, but they are still fairly comfortable and much better than Crossgates Mall Regal. Very informative information all around on incoming events, giveaways, etc. This theater has one issue though that they really need to work on. There is a terrible problem with other moviegoers being loud, obnoxious, and annoying behavior, and the staff never seem to do anything about it. This has been the worst theater in the 518 from Albany to Lake George when it comes to this. I would love to see this staff take action on this and at least limit it from happening at every movie. The most recent case was yesterday, 6/29, for the 6PM showing of A Quiet Place. A group of teenagers continuously made noises during the quietest moments of this film on purpose. There were no routine walkthroughs during the film by the staff, and one of my fellow moviegoers had to stand up and yell at them to please stop so everyone can enjoy the film. This behavior happens at almost every film I see at this theater. I really hope management will see this post and take action against this...
