Carnival Ice Cream — Attraction in Town of Fishkill

I was in Fishkill for a doctor's appointment and it was a hot day so I was looking for a small ice cream place. I was sitting in the CVS parking lot and trying to look on my phone and it kept telling me I was already there. Which I thought was very funny. So I drove around to the back of the plaza to see what stores were open and all the way in the back was this Carnival ice cream shop. The owner was there. He was a very personable older gentleman .He said he makes 3/4 of the ice cream himself. The other ice cream comes from Perry's which is also a good brand. His prices are reasonable maybe even slightly lower than other places locally. He told me his mint chip was the best in the area so I took his word for it. I got a kiddie size mint chip with rainbow sprinkles. It was really tasty! He also does ice cream cakes and has plenty made to go that he can just initialize it for you with whatever you want to say and out you go. He also has individualize little ice creams. You can buy a 12 pack of mini ice creams or mini desserts for very reasonable price. Check out his store and see all the ice cream options that he has. It's a local place he's been there for years so give him some business. But you have to go all the way to the back of the plaza where the Gold's Gym is. I've been going to this shoppe since I was 4 years old. It has always been the same owner-Frank. He is very giving to the local little league and has ALWAYS has the best ice cream in the area. This year was my son's 4th birthday and we had the party next to Carnival at Jumpin Jakes. Frank personally delivered our custom Thomas the Train Ice cream cake. It hasn't changed in 40 years.
