K & M Uniforms — Attraction in Town of Green Island

I stopped by K&M Uniforms today to purchase scrubs and a jacket for my nursing program, as well as additional scrubs for work. Unfortunately, I was met with a very hostile employee who began yelling at me over things outside of my control—such as the store not having my school’s required patches or uniforms available. The worker even said, “I don’t know why the school keeps sending people here when we don’t have anything”, I did not receive an email from my school.

When I asked if there was a list of names to notify students once the scrubs came in, the response I got was, “Yeah, like I have nothing better to do than make a list.” This level of unprofessionalism was extremely disappointing and made me feel very unwelcome.

The staff was so helpful & so attentive. My mom and I drove over an hour so I could try scrubs on for nursing school because of my body type. I loved that the ladies helped with the sizing and were very honest about how I have such a small waist with big thighs, they didn’t whisper about it like it was something to be ashamed of. Growing up obviously cloth shopping was not much fun. They made it easy & enjoyable. We were probably in there for fifteen, maybe twenty minutes and that’s with me trying them on with a boot on because I have a broken foot. me and my friend went in this morning because i needed scrubs for a new job, i haven’t ever worn/bought scrubs before and didn’t know what i was looking for or what sizes would work. the lady there (i believe her name was kim) immediately approached me and asked what i was looking for and grabbed a couple things that she thought would fit and her choices were phenomenal! she made the entire process very easy and quick especially since in my head i had thought that this process would take a couple hours. never experienced this good of customer service before and good prices too!! will definitely be coming back to grab some other sets when i can. thanks kim!!
