I was there Monday September 16th 2024, I WAS headed home from Binghamton NY and decided I wanted street corn for lunch so I googled where I could get some, it told me there was some at dos amigos so I stopped off.... of course when I got in there it wasn't open.... now anyone who knows me knows I had to shop.... and that's just what I did ALOT IN FACT ALLLLL DAY. I had so many bags that I was embarrassed to be carrying them around and felt like I was being watched which clearly I was. Now after leaving V.S I see a security guy standing a little ways down I walked over to him to ask where the food court was n he said depends what I want blasy blasy little did I kno is he was there to stop me. I turned around and there is a police man putting me in hand cuffs, going thru my purse. It took both him and the guard to carry my bought items down to where they would search me I was humiliated everyone is of course watching thank God I didn't know any of these ppl. In the walk down both men are not believing a word I say they keep repeating where are the stolen things it will be much easier if you just tell us... by the way it was pink that said I stoled from them so I said why would I even steal from them especially I have a credit card from them if I really couldn't afford somthing from them in which btw I have about 500 pairs of undies from them and v.s. after saying that the cop says are all the credit cards in there yours ..... ummm ya... we get down there n I tell them they need to bring the footage then after I want an apology from them and you guys they even called a person from vs to come down to make sure I didn't stash anything in there store.... after going thru all my belongings the cop was a little embarrassed himself to see that i had in fact not stolen anything they let me go, on the way out I couldn't speak from the panic attack that had taken over my whole body. I did however stop off to dis amigos for street corn in which a lovely man paid for... And the corn was an A+ I seen the gaurd on the way out who smiled at me..... but I never got an apology from anyone. I will never ever be...
Read moreToday's visit to Crossgates Mall was a total shock! I don't like to give bad reviews but this needs to be said. I wanted to go to JCPenny and the only local store is at Crossgates. Upon entering the store, I saw the large garbage bins flanking the entry doors were so overfull that there was garbage falling out onto the sidewalk, as well as, graffiti spray paint markings all over the outside wall. That alone should have been the sign to leave, but my husband (who is now handicapped due to recent stroke) and I continued into the store. After browsing a bit he needed to use the restroom which we were told was on the lower level. We made our way to the elevator as he is visually impaired and walks with a walker. The only elevator in the store was broken. So we took a huge risk to ride the escalator to get to the JCP bathroom only to find out it was closed. At this point my husband needs a bathroom pretty badly, so we exit JCP into the Mall itself. Walk until we see a restroom sign that identifies the restrooms down a long, VERY narrow corridor. The bathrooms were so small that my husband had to leave his walker in the hallway and another man who was trying to enter with a mobile wheelchair had to turn around without entering. I watched another lady with a baby carriage back out of the ladies room and hand off the carriage to her husband because it wouldn't fit. Management, not only should be ASHAMED, I really feel they should be fined for not having handicap accessible facilities. I guess before my husband had his stroke I would have never realized how far onto the dysfunctional scale Crossgates is. Needless to say, I was so disgusted that I left my items on a shelf, I will not spend a dime of money in a place that incompetent! Colonie Center, which is only 10 min away, may not have JCP but exceeds Crossgates Mall by...
Read moreI visitid a place name as Sbarro Pizza in food court to have my lunch. I asked to the girl on counter for 2 breadstick and also requested to change her gloves and keep secure and safe my breadsticks from any meat contamination. But she did not changed gloves and started argueing about my diet and food. I requested her, that you dont have anything to do with my diet and i dont have enough time to explain and argue woth you. But she still kept going. Meanwhile i asked to make full size bowl of baked ziti as it has no any meat. On that time, i found that she was using the tool that she already had used on pork meat product and i also saw that the toaster grill belt was not clean and it has very dirty oily layer on it with some meat peices on it. Then i refused to take my breadsticks. I tried to see that girl ( who was serving me) her name on her badge, but the her name was erased and there was only marker line with big wipe on it. The girls has curly golden hairs and with short height. This was very disrespecfull and careless behavior from that girl at all for me with my food and diet. I have reported last year also about this place for food handling. But today again i had this type bad experience. I will never like to go again in future. There is one more Sbarro in Colonie Mall, but their staff was very great for me. As i requested to avoid any meat from food. He grabbed aned tool in front me and also put my food in new alluminium contaner for making sure for food safety. Why crossgates mall place dont do so? And why they never showed respect and serious behavior with customers? I will put my same reviews on google as well. Crossgates Management must need to make sure of food saftey...
