I recently visited Macy’s to buy a suit for an upcoming wedding, and I had the absolute pleasure of being assisted by Sayed. I was quite anxious about finding the perfect suit, but Sayed’s professionalism and patience were evident throughout the entire process. Despite being there for nearly two hours, Sayed remained incredibly patient and helpful. He took the time to understand my preferences and went above and beyond to ensure that I found exactly what I was looking for. His knowledge about suits and keen eye for detail were impressive. What stood out most was Sayed’s genuine dedication to customer satisfaction. He was attentive to my needs and showed remarkable perseverance in finding a suit that matched my style and fit perfectly. Sayed’s assistance didn’t stop at just finding the suit. He also helped with choosing the right accessories, ensuring that every element of my outfit was coordinated and polished. Sayed turned what could have been a hard task into a delightful experience. His exceptional service, coupled with his kind and patient approach, is truly commendable. If you’re in need of a suit or any other formal wear, I highly recommend visiting Macy’s and asking for Sayed. You won’t be disappointed! Roosevelt Field 2nd floor Please stop hiring grumpy, mean women that have no customer service etiquette or skills. I always enter on the 2nd floor by the entrance by Ballard Designs furniture store. I use the register by where Alfani and Vince Camuto clothes are, close to where the furrier used to be. It's always the same set of ladies there during the day shift. I was in today to return 3 items. I had a young, new girl (#11458936), she advised me that 2 items were past the return date, they were purchased 37 days ago. I shared I never heard this before, I thought it was 60 days. I asked can in get a store credit, she said "she's new, and had to ask the lady next to her (mean, always angry lady (#11329673), I had her a few days prior for a transaction. This lady asked if it was purchased on line or in the store (what difference did that make?) I told her on line. She said it's 37 days since purchased and maybe I can go upstairs and they will do it for me. Really???? So that indicated to me, it's possible. I asked her for a manager, she said a manager won't always give me what i want. I told her it's not what i want. It's a question i would like answered, can I get store credit? So I went upstairs, gave the items to Brian (#11257160), who stated its 37 days, but since the return policy changed recently, he"ll honor the return. I didn't have to ask, beg, or argue, now THAT is customer service at its best. KUDOS to Brian! I asked him when was it changed? He said a few months ago. From 60 days to 30 days. I knew I wasn't crazy. I'm a platinum customer and have been a customer since 1980. As I was leaving, the mean lady said to me as i was exciting, "did you get it done?", I said "of course", I wention to explain how he had customer service skills and i wanted the new, young associate to hear, how to handle a situation, by not being mean or evil. I told then I'm a platinum customer, but everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. Please don't have these mean women train the new innocent employees. The mean lady went on to ask, did the brown man help me? WHAT? I was uphauled at that question and told her that. Please get her out of customer service. I am furious about the horrendous service I received in the women's section near the last chance area. The lady working there refused to honor the price on an item, claiming it was incorrect because of different percentage discounts. But guess what? The original prices were the same! According to price accuracy policies, a retail store cannot charge more than the lowest advertised price for an item. Her customer service is unacceptable! No retail store shall charge a retail price for any stock keeping item, whether or not exempt under subdivision c of this section of NEW YORK ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 20-708.1 Item pricing. Subchapter 2: Truth-in-Pricing Law which exceeds the lower of any item, shelf, sale or advertised price of such stock keeping item. It is NEW YORK STATE LAW. This lady then PROCEEDED to tell me “you don’t work in retail no more” yeah, I don’t anymore I’ve moved on to nursing, but that doesn’t mean I forgot the LAW from when I USED TO work in retail. Unbelievably rude woman. And I’ll say it 100x over. This was just one experience. So, I will let it go. If i hear of it again with my family I will take action. Don’t go here.

I loved Macy's at some point in my life. As the years have gone by I try my best to no other actually go to Macy's but to shop online. I decided to go and use a gift card that I had for some time. I picked out 5 items for work from the JM Collection. 3 tops & two bottoms. I went to one register with two cashiers. I was third in line :) after ten minutes with no movement I and several other people in line wondered why the two people in front of me didn't leave yet. Finally a cashier says they are both waiting for a manager. Next line also waiting for a manager. Third line waiting for a manager but a smart cashier who continues to take customers while waiting for a manager. There would have been a 4 line but I opted from leaving the 3rd line to walk across the store to line 4 for a eager cashier who apparently had an empty register. Unfortunately there was no order so I wasn't going to walk and be on the back of the line. So long story short, I spent more time online than picking out clothes. This is why I do not like shopping inside of Macy's. Just order online folks.
