I recently had the pleasure of dining at True Food Kitchen, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re someone who values both great flavor and wholesome, clean ingredients, this place is an absolute gem.

First off, the food is exceptionally fresh. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients in every dish, and it’s clear that they prioritize using organic, seasonal, and sustainably sourced items. The flavors are vibrant, and there’s a wonderful balance of health-conscious choices without compromising on taste. Each dish feels light but satisfying, so you never leave feeling overly full or sluggish.

The menu offers a variety of options catering to different dietary preferences, from gluten-free to vegetarian and vegan, so there's something for everyone. The presentation of the dishes is equally impressive. Every plate looks like a work of art colorful, inviting, and made with care.

What stood out to me was how clean and energizing the food felt. I had a bowl packed with fresh veggies, grains, and lean protein, and it not only tasted great but also left me feeling refreshed, not weighed down. The commitment to keeping their food clean, free from unnecessary additives, and rich in nutrients is obvious in every bite.

The ambiance at the restaurant complements the food perfectly bright, airy, and welcoming, with a relaxed vibe that makes you feel at ease. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions about the ingredients or dishes, which adds to the overall positive experience.

Overall, if you're looking for a dining experience that’s as nourishing as it is delicious, True Food Kitchen is a must-try. You’re not just getting a meal, you’re getting a wholesome, mindful experience for both your body and your taste buds....

I've been a regular customer at True Food for quite some time, but my recent experience on Tuesday, December 9th, was far from satisfactory. I usually appreciate the convenience of placing my orders over the phone for a quick pickup, but on this occasion, my attempts to call went unanswered. Frustratingly, I had to go in person to place my order and wait for it be made. I was in a time sensitive situation and usually I like to place the order and pick it up so it's being made while I am on the way.

Upon entering, the staff appeared disengaged, with one employee seemingly more interested in scrolling through her phone than attending to the ringing phone. The lack of enthusiasm from the kitchen staff was evident, and the usually warm and friendly atmosphere was conspicuously absent. It felt as if they either had a complete staff turnover or were having an off day.

To make matters worse, my go-to drink, the Ginger O.G., was sour and not even cold. The wrap I ordered, a usual favorite, looked and smelled different, yet I decided to give it a chance. Regrettably, not long after consuming it, I started feeling unwell. The subsequent night brought chills and an unpleasant experience on the toilet, leaving me unable to eat since.

This was a disheartening experience, especially considering True Food Kitchens previous positive track record. I hope the management takes note of these issues and works to rectify them promptly. Unfortunately, for now, I'll be exploring other dining options due to concerns about both the quality of service and, more importantly, my health...

Certainly! Here's a sample Google review for True Food Kitchen at Roosevelt Field Mall, reflecting an experience of amazing service:

I recently dined at True Food Kitchen at Roosevelt Field Mall and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and delightful atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine kindness, setting the tone for a wonderful dining experience.

The menu, rich with healthy and flavorful options, was complemented by the knowledgeable staff who were eager to share their recommendations and accommodate dietary preferences. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were always full and our table was satisfied.

What stood out most was the team's commitment to ensuring every guest felt valued and taken care of. The manager even made rounds to check on diners, adding a personal touch that is rare to find.

The food itself was a highlight - fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. It's evident that True Food Kitchen prioritizes quality ingredients and skillful preparation.

In a mall as bustling as Roosevelt Field, True Food Kitchen is a haven of great food and even greater service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Hats off to the team for making our dining experience memorable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming environment.

Feel free to customize this review based on your personal experience and specific details...

I have thought long and hard and let myself calm down before posting this review to give it a fair and honest assessment. But this really stands out as a bad experience. I have eaten at this restaurant in another state, and it really was a great experience in Pennsylvania. I was hoping for the same at the Long Island restaurant but am very disappointed. I have gluten allergies, and I was clear to mention it to our server Dennis. The restaurant clearly notes the gluten friendly items on the menu. He took note and took our order. The drinks came out quickly. And that was it.. we waited for our food for over an hour. The people seated around us got their food first. When it arrived, my boyfriend's food was very COLD. I took two bites of food. At this point, we were annoyed and asked for a doggy bag for me and that his food be taken off the bill. They took off the hot food but charged us for his $4 dry salad the size of a pudding cup. After I bagged my food and paid, I started getting an allergic reaction. I immediately told Dennis, and he gave a generic response that he "told the kitchen and prepared it to the specifications". His response was monotone and he obviously didn't care. We left the restaurant immediately and all the food, which was mediocre. I was sick for days. I was most angry at the lackluster responses of making someone seriously ill. And being charged to be hungry and sick. The decor is nice and the place was clean. That's all.

I've been wanting to stop by this place and just happened across it on a quick mall run. I had the beach party cocktail, truffle honey and pear flatbread, and vegan double cheeseburger. To start, the drink was nice and creamy. Slightly reminded me of a piña colada on ice. Though the pieces of nutmeg were a little too big in the drink. The flatbread had potential, but there was hardly any goat cheese and completely forgot it had truffle. The truffle flavor did not come through. It was also smaller than expected and too crispy. Not worth $13. The burger was probably the best part. It was a nice blend of tangy and spicy, the beets and walnuts in the patty were perfectly seasoned too. The lettuce and tomato added a nice freshness to the medley. The patty held together pretty well, but I did need a fork and knife. I had it with salad and sweet potatoe hash. The kale salad was slightly citrusy, which was a beautiful balance. I have to say the patty could have been either too tangy and/or salty for my taste. Lastly, the squash pie was deliciously creamy and served with a coconut whipped topping. It was sweet potato pie like, but may have had a tad too much cinnamon and nutmeg. The only thing I could have done without was the flatbread. It was disappointing. Aside from staff were nice and place was beautiful.

Came here to try since it is new and gotten so many good reviews online. This is a healthy food kind of restaurant. This place is also very expensive. I had a party of 3 and we spent $100 for lunch. That amount should be more for dinner. The spinach mushroom pizza is made with homemade vegan ricotta. It doesn't taste like real cheese. The crust and other ingredients on the pie was good and the dough was nicely crisp. The corn soup is very spicy and very overpowering that you cannot taste other flavors. We also tried the special butternut squash soup and it was tasty. The Mediterranean quinoa salad was good but it was just a bunch of salad greens mixed together so you cannot really mess it up. We added tofu to the salad and the tofu did not taste anything like you get from an Asian restaurant. The hummus was good and we had to ask for more pita since it was not enough for the amount of dip they give. Also, the table next to us had 3 parties that came, sat down, checked menu on their phones, and walked out because they did not like the menu. One of the parties actually said loudly it was not real food before leaving. We wanted to try what everyone was raving about online but this was a one time experience. We will not return because it is very overpriced.
