New York Fries Roosevelt Field — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I have been seeing this place a lot on social media and when I came across it in Roosevelt field mall I just had to try it. I placed an order for the bacon double cheese fries but put the queso on the side. I got two big spoons of queso dumped right onto my fries and when I tried to tell the person making the order, he dismissed me. I watched him continue to put one item on the fries and then tend to another ticket, then put another item on the fries and tend to another ticket. It was so unorganized, finish the one order then move on to the next! Then I looked at the bacon, it looked raw to me and unappealing. I waited a long time to order, a long time to get the fries and for it to be wrong I just wanted a refund at that point. They need more staff for sure! The only positive was the woman who took my order, she was very pleasant the whole time. Honestly not sure if I would bother giving it...

I only came to New York fries because of Luca his service was excellent. He was on point and describing the food products and also he was on point in telling me which of which ingredients was in the food and he was so patient kind and I am a disabled veteran so he took his time and talking with me, and took his time explaining, and he was a pleasure was an absolute pleasure to order fruit from and he also gave suggestions and what to eat as well and he talked about each product, which I appreciate it and don’t forget not to mention he also offered drinks and what type of drinks they had and how you can get different ways how to get your food Luca was very knowledgeable And was a young African-American lady the other day that was very...

It was my first time trying New York Fries today.

Had the Hot Dog with mustard and sauerkraut, plus the fries.

It was a busy summer Friday in a crowded mall at 1PM, and there was only one person working the counter. There was a second person in the back that showed up after I (and others) had a wait.

I prefer my hot dogs well done, and the one that came out was pretty undercooked for my tastes. I asked if it was possible to get the well done dogs (some were sitting right there!) and he said "it wasn't possible". Really? Very disappointing response.

Fries were nice and crispy which is why I gave two stars. Hot dog was large but skinless, and had the 'boiled' taste.
