Alex is very gifted at what he does. He has a lot of experience which comes through clearly with the nicely blended fade/taper and clean lines. So far, this was my freshest fade/skin taper hands down. And at $25 it is a steal. Beyond that, he has amazing interior decor, provides great conversation, listens to what you want, and provides insightful recommendations if you're not exactly sure on what you want. He checks with you multiple times to make sure things are looking good, so there are no surprises at the end. He is also a great salesman -- one of those super charismatic ones that you can't help but like. However, he DOES NOT upsell or lie to make more money. Instead, he accurately marketed the hair product and his skills and delivered on his claims. It turns out that not only was this my favorite cut, the product I bought turned out to be the best, yet cheapest, one that I have ever purchased (it's the powder one that provides a matte look with flexible/adjustable hold even if you get it wet, and it does not flake as it dries nor does it make your hair uncomfortably stiff). I recommend this barber shop to anyone, and I'm looking forward to coming back....

This was my first time getting a haircut in over a year. I typically grow my hair out really long because every single time I get a hair cut, it's either uneven, not what I asked for, or just down right terrible. The last amazing haircut I got was sometime back in 2016, but now I can happily say it was about a few hours ago.

I went for the royal treatment (hair cut, face mask treatment, hot towel shave) and I was not disappointed in the slightest. There's a reason Alex's shop has 5 star reviews from every person who has walked through. Not only does Alex give amazing haircuts, but he provides a great environment, actually listens to what kind of style you want, and is extremely courteous. Not to mention the fact that he keeps an EXTREMELY clean shop and ensures that all measures are taken for safety during covid times.
