Parking is often a nightmare, but always a mess.

Drivers: Good luck not hitting a pedestrian crossing to and from the lot and the store (if some of them seem like they're daring you to hit them, that's because this is NY - they are!).

Pedestrians: good luck in the cross-walk, aka the "kill zone", going to/from the parking lot and the store. My advice: whip out that cell phone, make a call, play your favorite game, or check out if DSW has a good sale on, then close your eyes, and push your overflowing, poorly packed cart into the crosswalk and follow closely behind like a cop through a traffic jam, and don't stop until both feet suddenly leave the ground, or until you safely reach the other side. Just remember, at these prices, it's worth a little risk.

The store is often a mess and always a nightmare. Beware people walking ahead of you, they will undoubtedly stop without warning, forcing you to take evasive action or knock them over.

It may seem intimidating, the line may look long, but always opt for self-checkout if you can. The manned checkout stations are a trap and a time-suck. Don't gamble the rest of your Sunday afternoon on getting the one competent, interested or awake cashier. The odds are stacked against you nearly as high as the cashier you will actually get is. (The way Walmart treats its employees, I wouldn't be interested, awake, competent or sober either).

Make sure to keep your receipt for that pack of gum you bought, they'll want to check it on the way out. But, if you don't have it, they will provide you a free ride in the backseat of one of the 2 police cars permanently stationed out front. (Tbh, these days they probably charge a fee for gas, time, and mileage for the inconvenience of having to come arrest you.)

But this is not a negative review.

I meant it when i say that at these prices, it's worth a little risk... of court fees, an entire wasted Sunday, bowling over a couple of senior citizens, vehicular manslaughter and life itself. Go on, I dare you to shop at Target with the rest of the upper middle class snobs who are so flush they can pay the extra 2 cents for a box of Lucky Charms like it just don't matter.
