Arcadia Floral Co. — Attraction in Town of Mamaroneck

I had a five-star experience working with Arcadia for my spring wedding. I knew I wanted modest florals and I had a strict budget in mind, which made it really hard to find a florist. I spent like two months reaching out to florists and requesting quotes, speaking to them during consultations, only to be ghosted or proposed truly insane prices for what I wanted (low floral centerpieces in a gold vase, and I didn’t even have any preference on flowers, just tones/color). Finally, I reached out to Arcadia despite my expectation that they would be too expensive for me, and I am SO glad I did. I went there in person to speak to Adriana about what I wanted and I told her politely that I only had $100 to spend per centerpiece. She immediately replied, “that’s absolutely no problem” and then reassured me that I was being smart with my budget and “that’s all you need” for my centerpieces. I received the quote exactly as discussed and signed the contract that day. Throughout the rest of the process, they were professional and accommodating, and granted my request to see a sample in person about a month before. It was beautiful, and I couldn’t believe they were being so gracious about such a low-spending client. On the day I paid my balance (in person), one of the florists gifted me this enormous potted pink hydrangea, out of nowhere, just because he was being kind and it was Easter weekend. I was SO impressed and so touched by the gesture. And on the day of my wedding, I walked into the reception space and was FLOORED by how beautiful the room looked with those stunning low centerpieces in the most beautiful, delicate florals. They even went above and beyond to scatter rose petals in front of the dais table and some of my decor pieces, when I didn’t expect them to. They made the entire vision come to life, and I will forever be grateful that when other florists wouldn’t even send me a quote, I decided to call Arcadia. I cannot thank them enough for their impeccable customer service, their stunning floral arrangements, and the way they made me feel like a special client...

I only used this company because it was 1 of 2 that I was allowed to choose from due to my reception hall being at Glen Island Harbour Club. Glen Islands staff was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process, I wish I could say the same about Arcadia, and specifically working with Adrienne. Adrienne was late to ALL of my meetings with her. The last time she was late it was because she was socializing with her friend (which I know because I could overhear the entire conversation on the couch not even a foot away from her). She came off as rude, and oftentimes didn’t listen to what I was asking. I told her MULTIPLE times within the same conversation that we couldn’t have orchids that weren’t submerged in water due to an allergy. She proceeded to bring up orchids and how beautiful they’d look, despite me saying no. During my final meeting with her I mentioned that I wanted to add a little bit of pink/blush roses to my maid of honors and my bouquet, as well as the corsages. She came off as not wanting to do this and stated it wouldn’t look good or fit the color scheme, which it did as my colors were silver, burgundy, and blush. This goes to show another example of her not listening to her customers. It’s a shame that I have to write such a negative review about my experience, especially since the day ended up being beautiful and I did get what I want. But when helping to plan someone’s wedding, the bride shouldn’t have to go back and forth with a florist because the florist refused to listen. I will not recommend this company to anyone, and although we called and spoke to the owner, I wanted to also warn future customers of my experience. The owner stated that they threw in a few extra flowers cause they knew I was unhappy, but honestly I didn’t notice any difference from what I had ordered. Overpriced for a terrible customer service experience!

Arcadia Floral is the ONLY place in region that you should contact for your all of your floral needs, particularly if you are looking for wedding florals. Their shop in Mamaroneck is top notch. When you walk in, you cannot help but fall in love with the aroma of the beautiful, fresh florals that adorn the room. Their bridal staging area is fantastic. There are tables set up with different styles, designs, and centerpieces that are extremely helpful when tackling a very daunting task, such as planning a style for a wedding ceremony and reception.

My bridal coordinator was Adrienne and, quite honestly, you cannot find anyone better to work with if you tried. Her professionalism, style, expertise are second to none. She is super easy to work with and has an amazing sense of design. I showed her photos of what I had in mind and she sat with me creating my vision and even brought my vision to life right before my eyes during my consultation. I cannot begin to tell you how helpful it was to have someone to so seamlessly create my vision. Her eye, attention to detail, patience, and above all, excellent communication skills are unmatched.She gave excellent suggestions for flowers which was wonderful since my wedding was in June and it would be hot. She was flexible and listened. While I knew I would be getting nothing but the best on the day of my wedding, I was truly overwhelmed by everything they provided. From the bouquets, to my center pieces, the gondola and ceremony area...it was truly magical. The guests were in awe of the beautiful florals and were clamoring to take pieces home when the reception was done.

I generally don't write a whole lot of reviews but when I feel like something has been done exceptionally well and has exceeded my expectations (and believe me, I have VERY high expectations), it is so important to let people know about what you are getting. And what you are getting with Arcadia is nothing but...
