I am staying at a hotel across the street from this place while my bathroom is being remodeled. Never went in and at last minute I decided to go there, before I had to leave for work. First impression: Wow, this showroom has so much, something for everyone's tastes from the ordinary to the fantastical. Second impression: Good, lord, I'd hate to be the one paying their electric bill. The sales people were very, very professional. The first gentleman directed me to a young sales lady who began to help me. When I ran the requirements, and what I was looking for within those parameters (recessed, led, dimmable, damp rated, etc..), she told me she wanted to consult someone and openly admitted she was not fully knowledgeable- which was absolutely fine! She did not lie or pretend while wasting my time and energy. She seemed very intelligent, I'm sure she would learn all the aspects her trade soon enough. NO ONE WASTED MY TIME! She was also absolutely beautiful and tall, well dressed and so very well spoken. Classy, elegant and sophisticated young lady. She might have been a model had she gone a different path in life. She returned with a slightly older gentleman who seemed downright debonair; oozing with knowledge with all things lighting. They directed me to what I needed, gave me all their choices and gave me tips (whenever I asked) on selecting what would go best in my home given my choice of design and my particular needs. They did not try to oversell me on anything, and I came away feeling that my money was well spent on quality products. You know what else? I felt like I walked into a classy establishment and they did not harass me or pressure me to buy anything I wouldn't have normally wanted to. Their knowledge was expert (even something the young lady was not fully familiar with, she got the right people, asap, to help). This is what a truly luxurious shopping experience must feel like: classy, charming, knowledgeable and beautiful people taking their time to work to find things to suit your needs and your budget at your pace, without ever being pushy. I will always come back here for any lighting needs I have. Forget online ordering, or cheapo places like Home Depot or Loews. You won't get this service or this quality product there and with the internet retailers, you won't know what you're really getting till it gets there. I even needed these items right away and they found a timeline I was able to work with and called to put a rush on items while I was there. In and out in 15 minutes and got to work on time. I have found many highly rated places (looking at you, Greenart) to be a total let down in terms of service, not this place. My experience here...
Read moreMy wife and I recently visited the store to purchase lighting for our kitchen remodel, and we had an outstanding experience from start to finish. We were quickly introduced to Nicole R., who not only has a fantastic eye for design but also took the time to educate us on different types of lighting for specific looks and needs. She immediately presented us with thoughtful, tailored options that aligned perfectly with our vision.
Our remodel is a fairly extensive project, so we ended up visiting the store multiple times before making our final decision. Throughout the entire process, Nicole remained incredibly professional, patient, and never made us feel rushed—even when the store was clearly busy. Her attention to detail and commitment to customer service truly stood out.
Once we finalized our lighting choices, Nicole connected us with her colleague, Tim, who was equally impressive. Tim walked us through the technical aspects of our project, provided a detailed layout for optimal recessed lighting placement, and helped us select the right devices to control our lights via app. His expertise and clear communication gave us confidence that we were making the right decisions.
Overall, this was one of the most pleasant shopping experiences we’ve had. We’re thrilled with our choices and look forward to returning in the future....
Read moreWe have built many homes in the past for ourselves and for all of them we have gone to the “big light stores” in Manhattan for the light fixtures. But, when we built our East Hills home, we wanted to just check out Elements, the neighborhood lighting store, and we are so glad we did. The looks of this store is very deceptive from the outside. They are huge inside, their selections are excellent and their service is incomparable. I want to introduce to you Neesh, our one of a kind salesperson. She is polite, pleasant, exceptional in her knowledge, and more than anything, extremely patient, being that we have been very picky. If you have something in kind and they don’t have it on display, they will gladly get it for you. We spent several hours there choosing lighting fixtures for our entire house. Moreover, since our house was not complete when our orders came in, they graciously held it for several months until we were ready. If any one is looking for a serious lighting purchase in Long Island, we recommend Elements whole heartedly. You will not be...
