Yogurt Time — Attraction in Town of Smithtown

I really don’t understand how they could charge so much for a cup of frozen yogurt. The current price as of 7/28/2023 is 99 cents an oz. I brought 2 kids here, they got 2 small cups, filled them about halfway, with a few toppings. The price was $33. That is absolutely insane. There’s no reason to charge that much for a cup of ice cream. It was my first and last time here. You can get frozen yogurt at so many places near here, and an even larger size with more toppings for about $6-$8 a cup. Not to mention, the thick cardboard cups they are using. They don’t take off any weight for those. It’s a rip off. My kids said they yogurt was decent but the toppings were a little stale as well. I hope this business is paying their employees good money because they are making a pretty penny. This place is always busy. There’s usually only 2 people working here at a time, I hope they are being paid $50 an hour, that would be fair, considering the store makes that for 3...

I arrived at Yogurt Time and was amazed to read Self Serve on the door. Even more amazed when I entered and found a sparce yet nice open area, complete with an incredible toppings bar. Everything from peanut butter cups to fresh fruit. Around a dozen flavors which can increase if you decide to mix and match. Did I mention Self Serve? Grab a cup of your choice 16 or 20 ounce and go to town. It is by weight at, I believe, $.64 per ounce. My huge 20oz cup was filled to capacity with vanilla/praline swirl. Topped with rainbow cookies, raspberry cups, peanut butter cups, brownie bites, chocolate covered marshmallows and whipped cream. I treated myself to an amazingly decadent dessert this evening at a moderate price. Highly recommend this place...

Will never return to this place again. The owner was extremely rude. Her credit card machine broke and as I stood there for about 10 minutes while she tried to fix it when she finally couldn’t she stood there having a conversation with the cashier completely ignoring me. When I finally asked what should I do she asked me a second time if I had cash and I said once again that I didn’t she said well I can’t give it to you for free. I said you would rather throw out that yogurt and lose a customer then to let me have it for free? Yes. I’ll never go there again.
