Title: Mixed Feelings: Professional but Not Pampered
Review: As a beauty influencer, how I feel when spending money on services is extremely important to me. I was really looking forward to visiting this place, especially after a previous not-so-great experience at another salon. Initially, I appreciated how attentive they were – they noticed a fungus on my feet and took the time to educate me about it, which I found thoughtful and professional.
However, despite their attention to detail, I didn’t feel entirely good about the experience. I came in with my mother, who got a gel pedicure with red polish. After her service, she didn’t want to put her shoes back on and asked for disposable sandals. Unfortunately, they didn’t accommodate her request, insisting she put her shoes back on instead. This made her feel uncomfortable since her simple request wasn’t honored.
As for me, I tried a new set since it’s my birthday tomorrow. The set was expensive – about $100 – and although I wanted to feel pampered and satisfied, I left feeling quite the opposite. Spending $250 in total for both of us, I expected to leave happy, but that wasn’t the case.
Would I recommend this place? It’s hard to say. If you’re looking for a professional, presentable service and need something done efficiently, it could be a good option. However, if you’re looking for an experience that makes you feel pampered and genuinely happy with the outcome, this may not be the place. Overall, I would rate my experience...
Read moreHad a pedi & gel mani here only once, while waiting for car work at my nearby mechanic. Never again! They didn't soak off my polish, they used the dremel and took off so much of my nail underneath the polish that my nails were ruined. They're still so thin and flexible they're bending back & breaking even a month later. The techician didn't ask what shape I wanted nor follow what I already had; she reshaped my nails so square that the corners stuck up and that, combined with the thin condition she left them in, caused two nail corners to break off short the same day I had them done. The tech at my regular salon was amazed at the poor condition of my nails a week later. Over a full month later, I am now getting very painful and deep vertical splitting in my nails, which required a trip to my regular salon today to fix by applying gel over the nail until the split grows out. Because of my nails' weakened state, putting my hands under the UV light is now excruciatingly painful. Going here was a costly and painful mistake I...
Read moreI usually never leave reviews but this place was genuinely terrible. They charged me 85 dollars for plain French when they said a new set is 55. The nails were awful and chunky looking and just plain old ugly, I went back once for a fill and they charged me 65 just for a fill with a solid color meanwhile they said last time a new set is 55 dollars. I’ve honestly never have had nails that looked this bad in my whole life, no idea why I went back. You could literally see brush strokes and polish marks. They are all wonky and different sizes and crocked. Besides that the girl that did my nails was pretty rude, I asked her to break my 20 and she only handed me 10 dollars back. Even though I intended to tip her 10 it’s just the concept that she didn’t even give me my money back. Also the nails didn’t even last 2 weeks it’s been 11 days and 4 of them are broken, the whole thing was rushed and just terrible. They are very expensive compared to other salons in the area, not worth the expensive price for awful...
