I got the rims I wanted at a good price and arrived in just 3 days. I was impressed. The customer service tech was very professional. I had to buy the tires elsewhere, though. The ones I wanted were out of stock. On the day of the installation I was worried. My experience at this place was hit or miss in terms of product care and installation. I've had my wheels scratched up and have had to rebalance them more than once after installation at this shop. The last time I was there they cross threaded one of the lug nuts. I still tipped the kid that did the work. This time, though, I told the tech I would tip him if he didn't scratch up my new rims. They were mounted without a problem and I tipped the 2 guys who worked on it.
And then I drove it...good God the balance was totally off because the vibrations were bad. At that point I was already on the freeway and on my way home. I just kept going and would deal with it the next day...mind you, I had to pay over $100 for installation and balance because I bought the tires elsewhere.
After some thought I decided to take my truck to a local shop, Les Schwab. They balanced 4 wheels and did not charge a single penny. Did I mention they also road force balanced all 4 wheels? No charge because I bought the tires there. The truck drives smoother now than ever before. Problem solved...now to deal with the residue left from the old weights on my new gloss black wheels.
They told me the wheel weights were all off and installed in the wrong location on the rims.
Great prices at America's Tire and good selection and fast shipping, but the actual installation? It's too unreliable. If they're not scratching up the rims they're cross-threading the lug nuts or improperly balancing the wheels. Personally, I'm done gambling with this shop. I won't be back.

I was contacted by the Manager and was refunded mounting & balancing charges. They made it right and I'm...
Read moreHad a flat tire and brought my car to the shop since I purchased the tire few years ago(although different branch) and expecting that still under warranty. Upon my checked in we went to the car and the representative mentioned to me that my tire was already out of warranty since the thread was already below the minimum and he advised me to replace the tire at the same time he mentioned that my rims was already rusty and recommended to replace as well. I decided to replaced both wheels and tires after the service was done, went to pick up my car and and technician gave me the key. The next day found out that They didn’t gave me the wheel lock key and at the same time the same day I received an email from the company regarding their discount tires. I called them back to ask why I didn’t have the wheel lock and they said just needed to drop by at the store and they will give me a new one (cool). But They should also inform the customer that they are not returning the old wheel lock if you buy a new one. When I asked regarding the discount I received on email they just mentioned that the discount was only applicable when you purchase online. I get the fact that the discount was only online but given that they recommended me to change both wheels and tire and I agreed to it they should have just let me know regarding the promotion and I should have just purchase it online so I can save $100+. Since I did the purchase in store I can’t avail the discount. I would recommend that employee should inform the customer regarding any promotion so that customers are aware and can decide if they want to purchase online or in-store. Now, I’m planning to return my in-store purchase and re order them online. It’s...
Read moreWorst customer service.... Yesterday, I had taken appointment and went there to show my car to this shop for one tire replacement and also to check other tire which was loosing air. They checked me in and after few minutes, they took my car in. The replacement tire work was going on. Meanwhile, for the other tire which was loosing air, they checked it and the Floor manager (I guess with his attire) said that there is a small nail or something stuck in the tire which is patchable, but the tire is not in repairable condition. I know that the tire tread had gone 70% and need to be replaced in about 500-100 miles. So, I kept requesting that person to patch it up now so that I can come back in a month when I have money to replace it, but he was very reluctant and rude in his reply and stubborn that they wont patch it. So, I had to ask them to put the same tire which has nail in it back onto my car. Looks like they are forcing the customers to buy new tires to make money even for a small patchwork and they are not ready to help the customers with the patch work. My advice is... Unless you absolutely have no choice, don't go to this shop. I like this America's tire / Discount tire Brand which has stores all over the state and country, but individual stores like this spoils the...
