Updated: Update after what happened below. They gave me a call to figure out what happened. After explaining to them, they apologized for the mischarge and gave me a refund for the entire quote visit. I was very impressed that they followed up and listened to what happened. There were some new personal that mixed up some lines of communication which is where my mischarge came from. I’m glad they explained to me what happened and were willing to address my issue professionally. Due to their response, I’m much more likely to use them again.
Original issue: I'd asked this company to come to my property to take a look at my irrigation system so I could get an estimate for the work I wanted done (repair irrigation and possibly move my irrigation system underground). I was told that there would be a $110 charge for the visit, which would be credited towards any work I let Rock N' Rose do in the future (basically if I accepted their bid). I paid the $110 before the visit. I will say that their visit was great and I appreciated them answering all my questions when they were looking at my irrigation system. I ended up not going with them and instead had someone else do the work on my irrigation system. Given just that, I had no issues with them. However, several months later, I suddenly received an invoice for $165 for the visit, the mileage, and the time to prepare the estimate. At first I thought it was a mistake, so I responded and explained that I'd already paid the $110 for the visit they'd made. However, their response was that they could credit the $110 towards the $165, but I still had to pay for the time it took for them to prepare the estimate and for driving to my property. I was stunned, because I was never told I had to pay anything extra since the $110 was supposed to cover the actual visit to my property. I do not live in the middle of nowhere, and live in their service area. When I'd asked about fees before scheduling this appointment, I was told there were no other fees besides that $110, which I find very unprofessional. Fees should be the very basic information for any business, especially when it comes to providing services. Read moreThis was our first and only year using Rock & Rose for yard maintenance. By the time they arrived, we had already completed our own spring cleanup, pine needle removal, and drip system setup. Despite that, their crew came in with industrial blowers, damaged several plants and parts of the irrigation, and left mid-job due to shift limits—never returning to finish. We were then billed $1,500 for unfinished work plus disposal fees (dump fees, they do not offer to use green bins either).
To their credit, everyone we spoke with was polite and did come out to review the issue. However, we ended services and paid the invoice even though we strongly disagreed with the charges. Afterward, we continued receiving monthly bills for maintenance that was never performed.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was costly and extremely disappointing. I would not recommend Rock & Rose for maintenance services. It’s unfortunate, as we used to enjoy visiting their nursery—Villager Nursery remains a much better...

So unprofessional they do not speak english and cannot tell one they want to do the work before vandalizing my car and trapping me inside. They do not post signs stating when they are going to work there but each time I've been assaulted by their workers at around 8:30 in the morning while the public library is open for wifi and book returns. They should be doing their work at 5am when most people don't show up to do their work here and be more professional towards members...
