For Memorial Day we took a drive up to Reno and stopped at this park on our way home! Absolutely love truckee and the entire park was huge and amazing but my littles really enjoyed the playground and just how many things there were to do #playground #sahm #park #toddlermom

For a family that travels with a toddler, finding parks is a must to allow them to. Urn out some much needed excess energy. This park has swings, both for toddlers and larger children. It has two different size playgrounds, once again for toddlers and larger children. There is a play train for kids to pretend to be an engineer. There’s a large sandbox with a concrete snake, dinosaurs, and a turtle to climb on. There are picnic tables, restrooms, and what appears to be an actual small train as there are tracks around the park and assorted odds and ends one would see on a ride. Our toddler loved the park and didn’t want to leave!

What a great little park by the river. Some parking down on the lower area which can be reserved for BBQs. Prep tables, plenty of picnic tables, an overhang and a large BBQ. Right on the river. A great place to spend the day. Also gas a couple of pirt a potties. There is an adjacent trail for walking and bike riding.

Very thankful we have a place like this in our town. They also have an ice skating rink in the winter and a challenging disc golf course in the summer they have baseball fields basketball courts tennis courts this is a great place to start walking the Legacy Trail. They have a farmers market in the summer I believe on Tuesdays. They have a really great Amphitheatre with live music in the summer every week they also have a really amazing kind of picnic area down by the river. My wife and I actually rented it for our rehearsal dinner where we had about 200 people show up we had catering come in they were able to grill and make food for everybody there utilizing the parks grill. It was an absolutely beautiful setting for something like that really lush green grass to play games on lots of picnic tables to eat at definitely one of the best places in town to have a large group of...

I love Truckee and if you ever drive by, stop and Mosey around the little town because it's awesome ❣️ the people are fun-loving and there's lots to do like biking, canoeing, having fun just being at the park was awesome! The park was huge you can walk frisbee badminton play ball and do all the wonderful things at the park. My favorite was just laying in the grass doing the sun soaking🌞 the town is small, but lots of small shops to go in and shop around with fun people. I had a great experience just stopping in and checking out the...
