This was my first time eating Mediterranean food so my partner wanted to bring me to Grab A Gyro. The restaurant and the employees were very welcoming and patient with us as my partner and I tried to decide what to order. The owner/chef asked us if it was our first time, and said, "don't worry, I got you!" Next thing we knew he came to the table and gifted us with a platter of Baba Ganoush and Hummus! He explained what each dish was, what ingredients were in them, and told us, "all compliments come to me!" hahah! We were absolutely AMAZED at how delicious the food was!!! You could taste the flavorful char from the grilled eggplant in the Baba Ganoush, Hummus was so creamy and fresh, and the pita was warm and fluffy! My partner ordered the Kafta platter with salad and I got the Lamb Gyro with curly fries. Their Spicy Garlic Sauce is a MUST! There was so much food we couldn't finish it all and took the rest to-go. The Lamb Gyro with french fries were delivered crispy, hot and EXTREMELY satisfying. My partner also suggested I try their Mango Lassi and it was so good it was almost like a flavorful easy-to-drink dessert. I had a great experience and was so happy to have my first gyro at this location!!! We 100% loved the inclusive culture and the food was seriously soooo Delicious. Also, my partner and I were impressed with how many to-go orders were being prepared, it was like a revolving door of pick-ups! I recommend Grab A Gyro to anyone wanting to have a delicious, affordable meal in a comfortable environment with friendly staff, even if you don't eat at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is really good! Having lived in the Middle East for several years we really miss the cuisine that we used to enjoy at the local ātavernasā and coffee shops that were in every neighborhood. Grab a Gyro is pretty close to authentic. Their kebobs are very tasty as are their salads and the accompanying humus and tzatziki. Salad was fresh and crisp. The pita is packaged, but soft and fresh. The service was prompt and polite and we had a nice visit with the cook as he came out and chatted a bit. If youāre looking for an upscale dining experience, this is not it; however, if you like a good selection of Lebanese-Greek served in a small close setting this is worth a try.
Donāt understand those who have complained about the service and prices? Have you been to any fast food places lately? Iāll gladly spend $50 here to feed four adults (with a bit left over for a snack) long before spending a like amount at a fast food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food was hit or miss. The lamb gyro was on the greasier side and definitely need to the veggies on it to counter balance, along with sauce. The dalmas were dry and over baked or sitting in a heater too long. The samosas were the better part of the meal. The flavor was there and the buttery crispy/flaky crust. The problem was the crumbled meat just falls out when you cut into it.
They have an assortment of sugary fountain drinks. The pineapple cream soda is yummy but too sweet. Iām getting older lol. They are lacking in combos that people are looking for. So, the only combo they offer is with curly fries. I heard one lady ask for a combo with a side salad and get upset that it wasnāt on the menu. Something to think about perhaps. I wanted the same thing but ended up buying separate items and spending way more than I would have liked for a lunch. $25 for a gyro, drink and two appetizers because I...
