Iāve never had poor service at this store until today. I would understand IF it was the holidays & it was insanely busy but nope just a regular Tuesday afternoon. I was browsing after I just got done returning an item & notice a cute pillow that Iāve seen a few months prior was in the clearance pillow section with about 5 or so others ones however, they werenāt marked down to clearance. I went up to the front desk since nobody was on the sales floor to ask if the were on clearance. The first employee younger girl told me it mustāve been put there by accident since there wasnāt a tag. I told her that thereās more just like these back there itās not just this one in the clearance section!!! I asked if someone could scan it to let me know the price, pretty simple but nope she didnāt. She asked the guy that did my return in the first place who honestly seemed like he couldāve cared less & said they must been all in the wrong spot. I asked if there was a manager & he said he was the upfront manager. Him or the other employee didnāt even scan the tag on the pillow to verify if it was regular price or not. I asked if there was a FLOOR manager that could walk back w/me to verify it. He said you can talk her & thatās when I wanna say her name is Casandra but not sure, she said she was supposedly a āleadā?! First off, I canāt believe she hasnāt had any complaints with her approach with dealing w/customers. Sheās young & very unprofessional. She thinks sheās intimidating which she isnāt it. She gave me some kind of B.S that they are going through a floor change & those pillows arenāt on clearance. I asked her again like the other two employees so thatās three employees to walk back & see that thereās a good amount on the clearance pillow isle none them took the time to do so & none of them would scan the barcode to see either. That back area pillows, rugs & blankets looked like a tornado hit!!! Thereās no way that they are doing a floor change. It was just simply MESSY!!! Iāve worked in retail & I know how it can be however, I do know when a company has horrible employee(s) & this so call āleadā girl was a nightmare. Mocking me when I was leaving saying āhave a good day not once but twice just to be RUDE as I was walking in front of her employees & customers when leaving. I think she enjoy arguing w/customers. I donāt think Iām the only that has had this problem with this immature girl. She shouldnāt be a āleadā or even working with the public at all. Waiting to get a call back from corporate office to let them know how poor customer service she gives & that they need to...

Very disappointed with TJMaxx, they asked me if I wanted to sign up for TJMaxx rewards and I thought I would get rewards points for shopping like a Fred Meyer Rewards Card, and I said yes. Then she asked me for my ID and SSN I was a little concerned when she asked for my SSN why would she need that for rewards, then she informed me āCongratulations, you were accepted for the TJMaxx rewards Credit Card!ā I then got very furious because thatās not what I wanted to do, she put my $63 total I was spending that trip on the card, then as I went home and waited for my statement to come in the mail it never came, I tried calling the 1800 number to figure things out but they said they couldnāt do anything without my card number which I did not have. Six months go by I got a phone call saying I need to pay it, I asked them what information they had, everything in the system was WRONG except my phone number! I then made a payment online towards it and a few days later they charged me twice!! Being 20 years old living 100% on my own in my own apartment with no roommates I CANNOT afford this! TJMaxx ruined my Credit Score!! Will NEVER go back to them again!! Once I get my score back up I will cancel my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTj Maxx is always a mess purely because of the chaotic nature of discount retail, but the pure amount of disorganization here is stunning. The people in charge of departments don't seem to know how to properly merchandise their items. Some things aren't properly unpackaged, and so many times when I shop here I'm discouraged to purchase because things aren't tagged and many of the employees seem under trained to handle things like price checks. There's also just never enough of them around. I know the employees can't do anything about this so I feel bad they get stuck dealing with customer frustrations. Employee shortages should be a point of insight on the management. The sheer amount of visual clutter is enough to deal with, but having to shop among these people being forced to work in unsafe conditions, with lines that leave no room for social distancing, it's a wonder this covid chasm hasn't had an outbreak yet. The employees can't even properly enforce social distancing, because they're already spread so thin. It barely makes sense for this place to be open in a time like this. What's here that's necessary?...
