Just started working in the area and this place was recommended by everyone. Specifically the reasonably priced lunch special. Chicken teriyaki, egg roll small drink for $11. The place is very busy but has seating for those who want to stay. There are two lines, one to pickup food and one to order. The pickup line is longer. I was surprised to see soda refills is $0.50. trying to make additional money on pennies makes me wonder where else the restaurant is cutting value. The food was pretty average. It's white rice and chicken with teriyaki sauce so they can't really mess it up. They do give you a bottle of teriyaki sauce so you can use what you want. The second time I had lunch I did find a large black eyelash or mustache hair cooked into the rice. This immediately spoiled my appetite. I wanted to notify the staff but they were so busy I wasn't able to get their attention. I left, dissatisfied with the food. There are plenty of places to have lunch in the area I won't be back. My coworkers were fine with my discovery and have already been back for the low prices.

Mashita Teriyaki is absolutely the best teriyaki spot I have tried and I don't expect to find better. Their food, especially the beef and chicken, are somehow similar to the much more expensive Korean BBQ style meats. The portion sizes were shockingly generous and the prices were so cheap I wasn't sure if they hadn't updated them in a while but was reassured when I paid that they were accurate. Mashita is one of the rare restaurants that I will go out of my way for anytime I'm in the area, a list of mine that only a handful of places make.

Another prime example of outstanding QPR at a casual establishment offering an obscene amount of tasty teriyaki at very affordable prices. There are several different selections to choose from that are all mouthwatering. My recommendation? Try the pork and chicken with a side of potstickers. The owners will get to know your favorite dishes after just a couple of visits and be jotting them down on the ticket even before you reach the counter! A/A+

I placed an order online but never got a confirmation from "we deliver eats". They have no contact info, So I contacted mashita themselves and had to repeat myself 10 times for the individual answering the phone to tell me they dont deliver and he hung up on me. the worst customer service ever. I will never order from them again Ive ordered many many times in the past. I strongly suggest boycotting this place until they learn how to provide satisfactory customer service. this experience was totally unacceptable.

Updated: 2/7/2023: I went into the restaurant and sat down with the owner and discussed this situation, without a very satisfactory outcome. the owner did not seem to car about how his company shows up online when trying to order. I showed him on my phone the issues going on and how someone can order online for delivery(Owner was unaware). So after a couple months, I decided to try again as I DO like their food alot. So after placing an order online for dlevier that went through at 9:57AM to deliver around 11. I tracked it at 1120 to get an update the order didn't go through. I contacted Zuppler who the order was placed through to find out the restaurant cancelled this order claiming they close at noon. I called the restaurant and placed an order for pickup at 1230.

Do not do business with this restaurant. They have zero customer service professionalism and will take your order and then cancel it without notice leaving you without a lunch. they lied to the ordering company that placed my order for me.

However my credit card still has charge on it for this order!!!!

I will continue to fill out a review every day until I receive an answer from the company as to why this happened and what they will do to make sure it never happens to anyone again.

This is simply unacceptable customer service and this company/owner should be ashamed of how they treat a regulars customer who never had one complaint or...

Have been coming here for years now, the food quality usually varies from fine to pretty good. Over the past year customer service has taken a nose dive. The owner is an older gentleman and it is impossible to place an order on the phone when he answers. In person is worse-most recent experience I came in with a family member and they ordered their food first. I was in line behind them and waiting at the counter-the owner goes off to pack a to go and take someone else’s order. I mention I’m waiting and he stares at me and asks what I want-obviously bothered considering his tone of voice and how he very indiscreetly turns to glare at my family member.

His overall attitude made me leave, aside from the line growing behind me. Outside I ask my relative to grab my card and order me the food. They come out after a few minutes telling me how the owner was even more upset saying “you already have three why do you want more” pretty much telling them no. Which I found absolutely ridiculous. I went inside to try to talk to him and ask why he was being so unnecessarily rude and disrespectful just because we came in together and wanted to order our items separately. I try to talk and he immediately goes “huh?” he apparently couldn’t hear me. At this point I gave up.

Easily the worst experience I’ve had at any restaurant. It seems obvious the owner has some issues with hearing people-please get someone else who can actually communicate properly and not get upset over a small misunderstanding.

Will not be...

Holy crap this is some of the best teriyaki I think I have ever had. I'm eating a lot of random Teriyaki both in my life and just in this general area. Without digging deep into my memory banks I can probably say that this place is my favorite ever. The chicken was super juicy and not overcooked and dry like 90% of teriyaki chicken. I also had the beef and it was also extremely good and juicy. The rice was exactly as it should be. The veggies I have to admit were kind of just ok.

Thankfully I don't go to Teriyaki places for high-quality veggies so it doesn't affect my rating. We also got some gyoza and they were very yummy as well although those I have had better elsewhere but that's really more like splitting hairs than anything.

If you are a fan of Teriyaki or even just a discerning customer who only wants high-quality stuff and this is the place for you. I should warn people know that there is zero parking for this place in the immediate area you have to go a block down the road and park in the Tualatin public parking lot otherwise you will be parking in the parking lots of businesses that get very angry very quickly and tow cars. This teriyaki place even has signs saying do not park at the surrounding businesses Lots. Just something I think people should know reading this review.

To boot the place is ran buy a very cute older Japanese couple who really couldn't be any nicer and are the typical restaurant entrepreneurs that people love to support. I highly...
