No matter what you will stand behind Covid 19 as your why we are treating the public this way and that is sad. If you want to chase local customers away then absolutley have someone stand in front of the door blocking the entrance while saying nothing. Only when we asked her to move did she point at the window. Pick up only. Chase everyone away force them to buy from Amazon its 10 times cheaper and i get free delivery. Trying to Shop local in this town is getting harder and the companies are not helping their own cause.
99% survival rate. The Box stores you know them the companies that chew up small businesses and spit them out all before breakfast, They are all open and have no problem letting you in and taking the money from people. You having good intentions have probably read everything you could find on covid and you believe in your heart that you are doing the right thing but for who? leaving your business my first thought is to use other options to find material to extend my indoor grow Lowes, Offered up, marketplace, and Craigslist. The bad part is I had a friend with me and we got there and that was her first and only experience with Ecogro. Will she ever comeback? Will she ever tell someone that they should absolutely shop here? No she won't. The public is not responsible for keeping you in business but when the locals keep being pushed away you cant complain that people are shopping else where. Ecogro is nice but i can save money going else where and there is nothing they sell that i cannot find on Craigslist...
Read moreThis is such a great nursery and plant supply shop. They have everything from popular houseplants to interesting collector plants, the prices are extremely reasonable, selection is amazing, owner is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and the customer service by all the staff that work there is outstanding.
Updating my review to reflect the fact that Brendan has screwed over many plant people in the community, myself included, and only gets away with it because of family money and legal threats. I got sent a very nasty cease and desist from his lawyers for posting about my experience coordinating on the Botanical Bazaar, a big plant vendor event where he didnât pay multiple people and screwed over vendors in the community. He continues to do this and get away with it. He burns bridges then finds new people to tie his name to in the name of âcommunityâ. His version of community is using other people to bolster his own name and brand and then not fulfilling any promises on his end.
Updating to add: Brendan has yet again screwed over another small seller in our plant community here in Tucson. He has a habit of making verbal promises, getting vendors on the hook for growing our plants/making stock of pots etc for him, then when it comes time to pay up, he bullies them into taking a lower price. Make sure you get everything in writing from the get go with this guy. He has great customer reviews but his practices with other small business owners is earning him a bad reputation...
Read moreI went there because i saw ads for it on the internet. It looked like a really big store with lot of variety but when I got there they only had a few plants, though one really mean looking cactus outside that was about fifty dollars. I would have bought it for the price but I saw a trip to the ER if I even went near it let along plant it. I did see some fig and moringa trees outside. I already had several fig trees and the Moringa trees were only ten dollars and I only had room in my trunk. The name did sound familar but I wasnt sure why. Now I know, it is the tree of life. If I was smart I would have gotten all of them for that price. Live and learn. They are very knowledgeable unlike Lowes, Home Depot or some other local nurseries of the strange plants like my first love Dragon Fruit cactus. I will definately be going back for more moringa and I have also purchased some kind of microbe you put in the soil to make it healthier. I live next to an abandoned golf course who apparently used a weed killer that killed all the trees outside of its perimeter or at least caused major damage. Its been a few years and my trees are started to recover as much as they can, some have just split fell over and died. If you need help with the health of your yard, not lawn but trees I would go here and talk to the guys. I only wish I knew they sold tshirts. I think you get a discount if you wear it...
