Presidio is the first apartment I’ve moved into on my own, and I have to say that I couldn’t have picked a better place!
I’ve lived in a studio apartment for about a year now, and the entire management team has been so kind and accommodating the entire time! They’ve always been quick to offer help whenever I had any questions or concerns. Even business aside, I love having small talks with Sitraly and Judith whenever I see them in the lobby.
My apartment is so nice as well! I’ve never had any issues with bugs, dirt, security, or my neighbors. There was a point when my AC stopped working, but that was fixed within a few days after informing management. The maintenance guys were so friendly and considerate of my space before entering! Other than that, I’ve never had a single issue with anything else in my apartment. Everything works great!
The only catch is that it can be a bit pricey for a college student (my monthly rent is roughly $1,245 - i live by myself and have no pets) but it’s definitely A LOT more worth it than other places considering how great the accommodations are: Water & electricity are a set price The gym is clean, all the machines work well, and it’s pretty much always open The pool is an amazing hang out spot. It’s huge and is consistently clean The in-unit washer/dryer is good for small-medium loads and has never given me any issues Parking lot is very spacious (and i believe there are no parking fees) The lobby has so many places to lounge. There’s a small coffee bar/area and different games to play! My friend and I love going into the lobby and playing on the arcade machine (which is free to play at anytime as long as the...
Read moreI had an awful experience with this apartment complex. They took my entire security deposit, leaving me with just $10, which is absolutely unacceptable. They charged me above 300$ for full painting when it should have been less than $100, especially since I lived in a larger apartment previously and only paid $80 for a bigger space and I only affected one wall with stickers so it’s not even entire wall. They also took $185 for "heavy cleaning" despite me leaving the apartment in pristine condition. My last apartment(Union on 6th), which was larger, only cost me $70 for cleaning! And when I left my apartment for the summer perfectly clean I came back founded my apartment filthy and dirty to find out they have been using the apartment to reach something above the apartment for I don’t know why and they left it kinda open and with all the dirty comes many bugs and I got insect bites and I didn’t fight with them about it. To top it off, they charged me insanely amount for floor repairs when I only had one minor issue. They claimed I had to pay for damage to another apartment affected by a long-standing water leak that I had repeatedly reported-yet they did nothing to address it. Can you believe you pay each month for maintenance when they will not help you and tell you what is wrong until you out. Not because I’m young they think they are allowed to steal all my money and not talk about it This has been a frustrating and infuriating experience, and I will no longer recommend this...
Read moreWhen it was time to move out, I went all out to ensure the apartment was spotless and in better shape than when I arrived. I scrubbed every inch—floors, counters, bathroom tiles—until they gleamed. I painted over small scratches on the walls, including ones that were already there before I moved in, just to be absolutely sure my security deposit wouldn’t be deducted. I thought I’d covered all my bases, but the management still took my security deposit. I spent hours trying to get an explanation—calling, emailing, pleading—but they dodged me with weak excuses or ignored me completely. It was a gut punch, like they’d been planning to pocket that money no matter what I did. It’s not just unfair; it’s theft, plain and simple. My advice to all those looking to rent here and those already staying here is to be aware that you will not get your security deposit back. You will see other reviews here with similar experiences.
The whole time I lived here, maintenance was a joke. I reported issues over and over, but nothing got fixed. Every other day the electrical outlets sparked and flickered, terrifying me. I’d call the office, and if I was lucky enough to get someone, they’d snap at me or make empty promises about sending a repair guy who never showed. Cockroaches own the apartment, skittering across the kitchen, popping up in the shower, and even showing up...
