I came in asking for a spa pedicure and a manicure using dip powder. The pedi went ok. Didn't get much of a massage, I had paid for their top pedicure treatment. That was supposed to come with a hot stone massage and I never received that. Next, for my mani, I showed them a picture of the color and simple design I wanted. Was told they didn't have the color I wanted. I was ok with that and asked for jusy something similar. I just wanted a opaque light lavender or pinkish color. I was told ok, but never given a sample chart to look at. I trusted the nail tech to pick something similar. Halfway through, I realized the color looked wrong and was literally the same color as my natural nail. You almost couldnt tell I had even had anything done. On top of that, shape was all wrong, a very uneven "almond" shape. I asked for a squared oval. I stop the nail tech and tell her I don't like what im seeing. She then tries to tell me its what I want. I tell her no again. She finally brings me a color sample. I point to what I want and am told thats what she used. Except it wasn't. Again, what she used was sheer almost clear. What I wanted is opaque. She then proceeds to move me to another chair while i pick a color. Which I already had and wasn't listened to. 20 minutes later a new tech comes and gets me because my original tech is now with someone else. I show the new color. Which is a bright Mauve pink. Not my vision but it will do. Except then they bring out a gel polish. Not what I want so I tell her I wanted dip. I'm then told and argued with that they have no other dip colors. I can't get any more dip, that I have been there too long and keeping other guests waiting. I stand my ground and say I asked for dip and to please show me their dip samples because they clearly did not show me them before. She brings me them. I find the exact color from original picture. The color they said they dont have. So to give them the benefit of the doubt, I pick one other color that was VERY close. Tell her this is what I want. Only to be met again with the whole "we have no other dip colors" So I finally said fine and to remove what they have done and I will take my business elsewhere. I am also 36wks pregnant, so I begin to cry at this point out of frustration. This is when they "take back" all they had said. Apologizing. Saying they'll make it right and to just pick a color. I say over and over "no thanks. Please just remove it." Then these two women begin to bully me and push some more until they pick a color for me and I give in. Because I had been there 3 hours and I just wanted to leave. By the end of this experience, I left with a bright pink that is like Pepto meets Barbie. Very uneven nails, from the shape to the surface of the nails. The simple thin top line design I wanted is uneven and chunky. I had gold glitter polish all over my fingers add hands. The top Gel coat they used was all over my nail beds, under my nails, basically gluing my nails to my skin. Oh, but they gave me a discount š I paid almost $100 for this nightmare of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI called the shop and they told me to come in at 4 and they close at 5 so I was very appreciative that the man who did my nails stayed and continued doing my nails after closing. But unfortunately, he did a poor job my nails are very uneven, hair cured into my nails he blamed me for this because i was on my phone and touching other things but he had never advised me to not do so during the appointment. He acknowledged that he saw the hair but not until after curing my nails so he wasnāt paying very much attention. A color i liked had glitter which i didnāt want so i asked if there was a color similar he then gave much of an attitude saying he cannot remove glitter from the polish and i need to make a decision thereās nothing he can do about it even tho thatās not what i had asked so i repeated the question. He then suggested a color which we used but unfortunately it didnāt turn out the way i thought it would, it wouldāve be extremely helpful if he had helped to pick a color similar to the picture I had showed instead of leaving three books to me to figure out which color to use after showing an inspo pic. Iām honestly very disappointed that I wasted 80$ on plain nails a color not like the inspo pic with a single charm on each hand extremely over priced for nails with no nail art what so ever and a single charm per hand. He gave me 10$ off for having hair cured into my nails. I decided to tip 10$ because although it wasnāt what I wanted, he spent his time out of his day to stay and work on my nails which...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToni is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! I went in last Saturday, on my way out of town and everyone at home, waiting and mad because I wanted my nails done before I left. I needed a fill in the worst way. Always skeptical with a new to me nail salon to me, but was the only one available given my situation.
So I sat down and explained I REALLY need the quickest fill possible and had to be out in an hour. She took one look at my nails knowing I was getting ready to up sold, was prepared to pounce. Well, suffice it to say she made a great case, and I allowed her to start over after she showed me some of her work. She even talked me into allowing her to leave them longer, which I never do, I pretty much type for a living and it slows me down if they are too long. She promised that if I struggle, to come back and she would shorten them.
So within 41 minutes, I was out the door with a beautiful brand new full set! I have not had any issues typing more slowly either, maybe it's the shape that she asked to do. She actually took time to explain something that in 25 years no one every had about the shape of my nails, hand, fingers and what shape looks best. I will be back! Back to skepticism though, I need the consistency of getting the same great service and product each visit, but I am, feeling pretty confident this time. ...
