my experience at Five Guys today was so unacceptable that it needs to be addressed. First off, the service was absolutely appalling. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than acknowledging waiting customers. I stood at the counter for over 5 minutes before anyone bothered to take my order and when they did, the cashier acted like I was interrupting their day. Then came the food and honestly, I’m shocked at how downhill things have gone. The burger was a soggy mess, completely falling apart, with grease dripping through the bag. The fries were cold, undercooked, and tasted like they’d been sitting out for hours. For the prices Five Guys charges, this was beyond unacceptable To make matters worse, the dining area was filthy. Tables were covered in trash, no one was cleaning anything, and the drink station was sticky and empty. If the front-of-house looks like this, I can only imagine the condition of the kitchen. Read moreThe food is great - if you ever get what you ordered. I just had my 4th screw up trying to order food for delivery. First time I clicked "reorder" on my past order that was delivered, went through all the menus and after I confirmed I got a message saying they would let me know when it's ready for pick up. I phoned the store and they said they can't help me since I ordered on the app, that I should click the Cancel button on the app - which doesn't exist. Third time I ordered for delivery - and never got my food, and again the store said not their problem, to contact Five Guys customer service. So I switched to ordering through DoorDash since at least they know how to deliver food. Today I ordered 3 burgers and a shake through DoorDash and when I got the order Five Guys had rung it up as 2 burgers and a shake, so I was missing a burger. Fool me once shame on you, fool me 4 times??? I'm an idiot but at least I've finally learned my lesson. Will never order anything from this Five...

Many other venues protect the business environment and their image as well as, ultimately, their customers by adopting harsh policies against us rif-raf (lol) Maybe there is nothing wrong with doing business that way, but tonight, after hours, I walked around five guys and I picked up all the litter in and around the property. I did this solely to repay the kindness and Hospitality of this business.
They don't necessarily give me inappropriate discounts or treat me any better compared with their average customer and that is why I took the time to make their property look a little nicer and hopefully improve the morale of the employees.
I just wanted to make sure that this act was taken as positive feedback to the way that they do business concerning the homeless community in the area.
