Never been here, kept getting email prompted ro get a free plate for downloading the app. Thought I'd try it.
Took forever at the menu with nobody behind me. The guy was really patient gave me a good 5 mins before asking if I had any questions about the menu. (Rather than keep asking me if im ready like 3 times)
Ordered a churro and a 3 taco plate w mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. Asked for a side of pico and green salsa only. Used a coupon for the free plate and only paid like 1.16 for the churro. Was missing one taco and the extra pico. Gave me red salsa even though I told them I didnt want it.
Ate the churro in the car on the way home,about 5 mins around the corner. Flavor was okay and it was hot but it left an unpleasant burning/tingling/stingy feeling in my mouth which was really odd. I dont know what that was about...?
The tacos were super mediocre. The chicken was really salty. It was also really wet, and it leaked through the taco and foil wrapping, and even through the bag and I had to clean up juice off my table. The tortilla was pretty flavorless. I ate 3/4 of the first taco, ate the chicken and avocado piece out of the second, threw the rest away.
The mac n cheese was pretty salty and the pasta itself was all mashed up, I couldnt even distinguish the pasta shape it was so mashed up. I ate a few bites and pawned it off on a roommate. The mashed potatoes were also really salty. I thought the gravey was okay-ish, but the potatoes had a sandy texture similar to instant potatoes. I ate like two bites, scooped off the gravey and ate that and threw the rest away.
Im not some flavor hating lady that cant handle her salt, in fact I really love salty stuff, I use black hawaiian salt on everything. No joke I lick the salt off pretzel rods before I eat them. I love my salt. But this food was salty in a bad way especially because it was lacking important other flavors. Putting it nicely, this food was just all medeocre and thoroughly unenjoyable. Putting it not nicely, the food was all badly seasoned, poorly flavored, my order was missing food, and ive had better instant potatoes for a 2 bucks at walmart. I was really disappointed in the food and the order completion. Honestly Im really glad I didnt pay the 8bucks this would have cost. I would have had to go back and complain for a refund becAuse if Id paid for this meal it really would have pissed me off. Im highly unlikely to return. Unfortunate because this was my first time there. Maybe ill try again if i get something free again but i wouldn't even buy that churro again. The whole meal just was really NOT GOOD.
TBH, I'd went to McDs before this to get a plain cheeseburger and a coupon for free mocha frappe. If i hadn't eaten that before the meal i would have been still hungry afterwards and had to cook something to supplement my poor...

I ordered a 2 piece chicken meal. She said they were out of thighs. I asked to pay the difference if they would substitute a breast. She asks me what did I say as if her mind was occupied by someone or something else. I repeated my request and without answering my first question She asked me if I wanted anything else. I asked her for a punch drink. She yelled back, WHAT? So thinking she couldn't hear me I raised my voice and repeated my request. She came back with "What do you want?" which at this time sounded like she wasn't paying attention. I said to cancel the order and drove off. I called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager to voice my displeasure. The young woman who answered claimed she was the manager. I repeated the experience to her. Her response was that she had an earpiece and heard me "YELL" at the worker. The manager said the workers deserved respect as much as the customer. To which I wholeheartedly agree. I am a customer service agent and have had my share of being yelled at. I asked her if she was aware of the conversation she heard the worker yelling and my voice was only a raise in volume in comparison. She also would have observed the worker not paying attention and disregard my requested option to pay extra for a substitution. The manager was defensive without a real awareness or solution to the incident. We asked what they were going to give us in substitute for it but the guy didn't understand. He said the dressing was free so he couldn't refund us but that's not what we meant. We said it's a salad so it should come with a dressing on the side. It was a hassle for him to understand that all we wanted was dressing with our tostadas. It's supposed to come with the creamy cilantro. We ordered a classic chicken tostada a couple weeks before and they didn't include it, so this time we wanted to make sure they gave it to us. We have been coming here since August 2020 and at first the food and customer service was great. In the last month or so the food quality and customer service has gotten pretty bad. They hired a few guys that are terrible at the drive thru. They pitch a fit if you want extra salsa or serrano peppers. The quality of the chicken is off too. It tasted a bit funky tonight.
