The construction of the John Hope Franklin reconciliation Park is a wonderful idea. If the idea was to create an environment within a cityscape to lead to talk, reflection and relaxation I think this park nails it. There are a number of plaques and statues that reminds everyone of what the reconciliation should be about. However the landscape, the seating and the open space certainly leads to one having meaningful conversations with others or just taking the time for thought...

This is an exceptionally generous offer for reconciliation provided by the John Hope Franklin foundation. It’s an offering, perhaps more genuinely generous than anyone in the community can really understand. It’s notable because the offer of “hope“, and “reconciliation“, over shadow by a ratio of 2:1, “hostility“.

And this park I can breathe and visualize this dream that we will break down the barriers, the dividing walls of hostility. And we will be...

This place is treasure!!!!! I never knew existed and needs way more attention..it literally takes you back in time. It awakens your heart to history and united my soul with destiny ❣️❣️ Precious and powerful tribute to many who were taken out of jealousy and hate. May the Lord heal the past and pour out his goodness and love and protection over the future in Jesus name amen ❤️

Wow. This place is a "don't miss". Beautiful, haunting, informative. The sculptures are just stunning. You can't help but feel connected to the loss and depth of what this park is honoring. Take the time to walk the labyrinth and read the signs.
