I had high expectations for this hotel after spending two nights in a La Quinta in Arkansas, but unfortunately my expectations were not met. We entered the room and I was immediately greeted by the trash of the last guest. A half drank bottle of water, and coffee related trash was near the coffee bar, which obviously had not been replenished, did not give me a great first impression. The rest of the room looked okay, but I was so icked out by the garbage that it tainted my whole experience. The room was comfortable otherwise, soft beds, and nice shower set up. Our view was of the parking lot, which I worried would get loud at night but we slept fine.
My biggest complaint during our stay was regarding parking. I booked this hotel specifically because it offered parking and we had a rental car. An email sent a few days before our stay (when it was too late to cancel without penalty) indicated that the parking lot would be closed during our stay. I called the front desk that day and was told that parking WOULD be available through our stay, and the issue would only come up after our checkout, and that even the. Valet would be available. Unfortunately that was not true. We were able to park only until 8 am on the day of checkout. When we asked the front desk where we should park, two different people told us we would just have to find public parking in the vicinity. The night of our stay was a baseball game a block away, and public parking was impossible (front desk had acknowledged this was the busiest parking weekend ever). So we decided to use the hotel parking and weâre then forced to check out before 8 am, which is not my preference as our flight was not until noon. This was extremely inconvenient and really took away from our stay as I spent half the time worrying about where to put our car. When we did finally leave right at 8 am, the parking lot was still full of cars, making me question whether the urgency of forcing my young kids out of the room by 8 was even...
Read moreIf you have less than 36 hours with your first responder for a night away⌠(in over 3 weeks) Iâd suggest not picking Indigo. Claims made âfood and bar on siteâ is not open 7 days a week. In fact no food is available on Sunday. We tried to check in at 3pm and told ALL their bars and dining were closed that evening. A stand up cooler is the lobby not an ideal dining alternate. âBest rate guaranteeâ also incorrect. No parking unless you can find it on the street or pay $28 for valet. Happened to visit when it was raining so agreed but everything unraveled. When we were unable to cancel at Indigo, despite wanting to, I mentioned wanting to transfer to Tulsa Club which I was told Ingigo has âBetter views than the Tulsa Clubâ .. the photo is my view (inclusive of a construction mud pit and vacant building). And also telling me I shouldnât rebook at Tulsa club because the street is closed and you canât even get to the hotel âŚ. All incorrect from the desk agent. Best rate available claim didnât seem accurate I knew it was a risk but I usually love IHG as a member. When I called IHG to ask for assistance or even a partial room credit or even to talk to and IHG customer member that could assist, was told they couldnât help me (other than if I returned to Indigo I could be offered a different room not over the construction). So much for being an IHG fan. This was supposed to be a nice getaway and Iâm out $200 disputing with the credit card. We Ended up agreeing itâs worth losing the money and went to the Tulsa Club front row parking and the bar and restaurant were openâŚ. All at a better rate than Indigo. This is less about a 3rd party site and more about how IHG really under deliverers at this site for offerings, customer service, misinformation and even putting down other area hotels. Itâs not a place weâd ever consider again due to the experience from...
Read moreI just finished a stay at your Hotel Indigo property in Tulsa, Ok. I used reward points to book the property and have had great experiences at these properties in the past. I wonât stay at this one again. I loved the decor and rooms and the cleanliness was as expected. However, the hotels ability to manage or care about the noise outside the property was very disappointing. Both Friday and Saturday nights around 1AM as the local bars (including the one in the hotel) close the people congregating in the lot joint g the hotels lot was extreme. The screaming, blaring music and cars racing was unbelievable. When asked at the front desk about the issue they explained its just that way sometimes. I told DJ I understood it wasnât in his direct control but the hotel knows it is an issue and chooses to do nothing about it. Not until police were called by hotel guests to end their party around 3am did anything stop. About 2 hours without sleep both nights. The staff can hear the noise. There should be a desire to have a good experience for the guests and they should either contact police when the noise ordinance is being broken. Honestly I expect more from a hotel group I have used for many years, but this is part of the reason I have chosen to stay in other locations as the care of the team has declined over the years. I would ask you to review this issue at the hotel so future guests can have a better nights sleep than me, my wife, my 11 year old daughter or the many other guests on my side of the hotel experienced. Maybe have your managers and staff spend a night on the noisy side on a Friday or Saturday night to see how they like...
