I walked into Cowboy Maloney's on the weekend, ready to buy a couch. Found a great one at a great price, got approved for financing—smooth sailing, right? Delivery was set for Monday. But Monday afternoon, I got the first of what I now realize would be many disappointing phone calls. Turns out, while loading my couch onto the truck, they just happened to notice it was broken. But hey, no worries, they’d get another one from their warehouse in Columbus by Wednesday and deliver it Thursday. Cool, I thought. Mistakes happen.
Thursday arrives. New phone call. New disappointment. Turns out, they just happened to realize they couldn’t get me that couch either. But hey, they had options! I could take the broken one (at a discount!) or come in and look at other couches.
Alright. Fine. I went in to pick a new couch. Took my time. Found one at the same price. The original salesman wasn’t there, but his sidekick was. The first words out of his mouth? “You sure you don’t want the broken one? We can give you a deal!” Tempting, but I prefer my furniture not to look like a crime scene. He assured me they could get me the new couch, no problem. Delivery set for Monday.
Now here’s where my patience ran out: I’ve spent a whole week without a couch in my living room, missed work waiting for their calls, and at no point did anyone think, Hey, maybe we should try to make this right. No apology. No rush to deliver it sooner. Just the same tired, "You’ll get it when you get it" attitude.
I guess customer service is as extinct as the couch I originally ordered. But if you’re looking for disappointment, false hope, and the possibility of sitting on broken furniture, Cowboy Maloney's has...
Read moreI went on a Thursday purchased a dryer I paid $600 dollars they told me it would be delivered between 10am and 2pm the next day which was Friday and that they would give me a call 30 minutes before they were on their way to deliver!!I called off work stayed at home they never called 1:49om rolled around I called them! They put the manager on the phone she told me they had an issue in the warehouse and would I like to wait til Monday! At that point I had no choice but to wait however I still asked why didn’t they call me to tell me I called off work and I had to call them they weren’t going to call at all! She assured me it would be first thing Monday morning and I would be the first delivery!! Monday morning comes in at work I get my mom to wait I told her to call them to see hat they would come so she didn’t have to spend her entire day at my house waiting on them they proceed to tell her their trucks are broke and it would be next week when they could get it to me!! They are very unprofessional they don’t communicate which is the biggest issue I could have waited but the fact that they couldn’t even properly inform me is crazy I would never do business with this! They actually did my sister the same way months before that but I still was willing to give them a try because stuff does happen however...
Read moreI bought a washer and dryer from them, they said they had everything in stock, told me they hoped I wouldn’t find anything else at another store and so we chose to go ahead and purchase through them. They in fact didn’t have everything in stock, told me they sold the last one earlier and so They ended up having to give us the display of the dryer and promised it worked. We got home, set everything up and turns out the dryer overheats and won’t run a cycle, it would run about 4 minutes and then shut off and wouldn’t start again until it cooled down. I called at 1030am the next morning and they said they’d swap it out, but when I got to the store around 4pm, they told me that they sent a guy to go get the dryer from Columbus and that he was 40 minutes away.. but they had 5 hours to get everything set up. Instead, I had to sit there for an hour before he got there. And then once he got there with the dryer, they helped load a customers whole sofa set, washer and dryer up who had just gotten there while I was there the longest and the...
