For note: I'm just a regular Earth breather with regular money. This is not a luxurious review from a box seat😁.
In my younger years, I attended the Alabama football games as a concession stand volunteer for a high school organization. 2025 marks my first time actually being at the stadium to watch the game. I had plenty of opportunities prior to 2025, but the way my checking account works...🤣
I was able to afford tickets to the Week 2 game. I took my uncle with me. An advantage is being from Tuscaloosa and having a relative drop us off as close as possible. Although it was crowded, there were still empty seats around us.
The security process was quick and painless. There were plenty of ticket lines, which made entering even easier than security. The stadium offers free WiFi.
As with most SEC football games, the atmosphere was amazingly live! The Million Dollar Band's bleacher music was great! I was pleasantly surprised. Between the band and the loudspeaker, the music kept the fans engaged.
The refreshment selections were lacking and expensive. This is the reason for the 4 stars.

Read moreA Beautiful stadium and electric atmosphere! When it's filled with Bama fans and the National Anthem is played and the 2 jets fly over.. YOU WILL BE PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN BAMA FAN! 😊 Then when the Tide come out of the tunnel to the field... The crowd is so loud! The stadium is rockin' for the next several hours cheering for the Crimson Tide! Now, on to the amenities. The bathrooms are kept clean and stocked by attendee's! The concessions are priced well. Great variety! This year, 2018 season, they have started allowing the guys selling lemonade and bottled water throughout the stands, to now sell Chick-fil-A and other foods so you don't have to leave your seat to stand in line! All workers there are extremely Friendly! And the fans ... Friendly too... But it is Bama we are talking about! We are one giant family! It's a must visit, even if you're not a Tide fan, there is a ton of history in the name of football! The National Championship's...
Read moreNot a tide fan, but thought it would be cool to check out a big SEC game while I was in the area. The atmosphere around the stadium/tailgating was awesome. Parking was pretty easy, not too much traffic (got there about 2 hours before kickoff). It's the only stadium I've ever been too, and I've been to a lot, that doesn't have any street vendors at all. I went really could've used a bottle of water after all the walking in 95 degree weather to and from the stadium, but there's a good possibility it's not allowed for whatever reason. Stadium was ok, concourse is kinda narrow, and it's hard to believe a perennial top 10 football program has exclusively backless bench seats. They rent padded seats with backs that hook onto the bleachers for 15 dollars but didn't seem like much of an upgrade so I abstained. Staff and vendors were all friendly and helpful, and there was a scoreboard and game info visible...
