So disappointed in the customer service here. I moved to Union in August and I have been ordering from this place every weekend because I do not cook on the weekends. I made this restaurant my designated take-out place because the food is decent and they were usually very nice when you pick up your order. Today I ordered as usual and went to pick up my food, and the lady asked to see my name on my phone. I proceed to show her my order on my phone, she does not say anything and literally calls the next customer up to get them their order, and the next customer after that. I stop her and say "is my food not ready?" she THEN tells me she did not see my name on my phone. So I say, "then why didn't you tell me that? I would have showed it to you again?" like what the hell! This is how you treat paying customers??? You would think during the pandemic, these businesses would try to at least offer good customer service since they are only open for takeout, but I felt so dismissed and disappointed to have ordered from here today. Needless to say, I will not be buying from here again. Good customer service is EVERYTHING and I will not spend my money where I feel dismissed...

For some places I like trying them more than once before writing a review. I’ve eaten at Morris Thai a few times over the last few years, and I think they’ve been under new management or such more recently.
After lunch today I wanted to note I really enjoyed it: the chicken pad thai really hit the spot!
While I haven’t yet been to Thailand and so might not know exactly what non-Americanized Thai cuisine is, I can speak to what made this choice really good:
Savory/sweet flavor. Pleasingly chewy noodles. An entertaining contrast of textures and tastes between the bright scallions and the crunchier peanuts.
I should also say my go-to Thai dish is usually pad krapow, but as I’m getting over some stomach thing like everyone else at this time I figured to eat something less potentially dangerous.
They have a small parking lot and street parking. Easy to find, pricing is similar nowadays to other places at about 15$ for the meal in total without drinks/apps.
Worth coming again when I’m not driving to or as close to my favorites in Montclair, Berkeley Heights...
Read moreI placed an order here last night via phone just prior to closing. I arrived within 5 minutes, and was advised to wait a few minutes. After a few minutes, the woman ask me my name, which I again tell her. She said another woman took my order. However I explained to her that, I have been here and no other woman came in. I explained that the one woman that did come in confirmed her name and order. A young lady then comes out of the kitchen and ask me my name and asked what I ordered. She returns approximately two minutes later with my order. I asked so was in the the back all this time, the older women on the register then begins to cut me off saying no they made another order. There was no way another order could be made that fast, which leads me to believe the older woman was just confused. Then when I asked for condiments (hot mustard), she yelled at me saying this is a Thai restaurant. Her response was very rude, then when I questioned why she was being rude, she yell have a nice night. With all that being said, I will never give this place my money again, especially if they don't have respect for...
