King of Prussia Town Center is the retail component of The Village at Valley Forge, a 122 acre master plan that will feature nearly 3,000 residential units and 1 million square feet of commercial space upon completion. King of Prussia Town Center plays a vital role in the diversification of the submarket suburban Philadelphia. Unlike its surrounding retail counterparts, King of Prussia Town Center is designed as a dense main street shopping experience. King of Prussia Town Center leverages placemaking principles and varied integrated activities such as a central plaza with pop fountains and fire features. The grand pavilion and generous lawn create the perfect setting for outdoor music, movies, and flea markets. The development accurately dubbed the "town center" is a place the community gathers for holidays, special events, or any day of the week.
While King of Prussia Town Center was fortunate to have a solid merchandising mix with the local City Works Brew Pub, LA Fitness, REI Coop, and Wegman's, the center's success results from the town square. The site plan creates a substantial cross-shopping experience, which is reinforced by a curbless environment allowing for major programmed events to spill into the street, creating a large town square. To additionally increase safety, the internal cross streets are adjusted in a pinwheel fashion, which slows traffic.
The numbers don't lie, King of Prussia Town Center's average daily traffic count is more than 360.000 vehicles making it...
Read moreI was very happy with the King of Prussia Town Center until I came home to the unwelcome surprise of of seeing a sign that states "no parking between 3am to 6am". I wondered then whom this unnounced pronouncement was directed too. My thoughts are surely not to the people that might have had one two many drinks at Cityworks or Paladar. Afterall surely someone who cares enough to not risk murdering anyone with a their DUI would be smart enough to leave their car parked overnight. And while I can't imagine these new policies are in place to convince people to drink or drive, one could only wonder what the township hopes to get out of this? I myself live at Indigo 301 and frequent the shops and restaurants of the town center every day. Am I not deserving of these parking spaces considering I am a larger spender in the area than anyone who doesn't live in the area? This must be a joke or the town center is in cahoots with the apartment complexes to spend more of my money in the area by forcing me to use the garage (if it wasn't a choice then charge me in my rent don't make it seem like I have one). This policy is stupid and angers the town center largest spending patrons. I will continue to post my disgust until this policy is reversed or an amicable solution is found. Oh thanks for informing us btw. Really appreciate that I come home to this at 8:30pm and have to scramble. Really good...
Read moreThis particular Wegmans is special. It has the most bustling, happy atmosphere of all the Wegmans I have been to in BuxMont and South Jersey neighborhoods. I eat at the KOP Wegmans quite often. A lot of folks make Wegmans Cafe their cafeteria of choice with nearby retail and medical offices and a hospital. I am one of them. The store is well stocked and maintained as always, but the real star of Theo Wegmans is the food court. No kidding. They make the best Tarragon Chicken croissant. Did you ever try any of Wegman’s bakery items? They’re baked fresh every day and it shows. The Sushi is insanely good and the selection has to be seen to be believed. Maki, Sashimi, Rolls - you can see them making them right in front of you. The stock is constantly moving so you know it’s so fresh! The salad bowls will blow your mind and there are so many ethnic dishes, you will be hard pressed to pick only one! I love those Shawarma Bowls! Whoo! They are zingy and fresh fresh fresh!
KOP Wegmans has a fantastic wine selection and a very efficient Pharmacy, also. I’ve been shopping here for years. You can’t beat Wegmans for quality and consistency no matter which one , but KOP is something to check out. It’s...
