I was at the Rally House location at South Hills Village Mall in Upper St. Clair, PA. I requested a hooded sweatshirt from a high location with a tag hanging down with the price of $56.99 in plain site. When it was decided that this item was going to be purchased it was taken to the register and it rang up at $89.99. I did not pay attention but after it was bagged I pulled out the item and said to the two (2) employees that the tag said $56.99 why did it ring up at $89.99? Upon a more thorough inspection of the price tag, there were two more stickers on the price tag that were much smaller with the one on the top with the $89.99 price. The original price of $56.99 was totally visible below these stickers. When I brought this to the attention of the two employees I was dismissed quickly and was told that it rang up $89.99 and that was the price. I said that this was bad business but decided to take the item and look into the matter further and find out if this bad business was the habit of Rally House to place upcharge price tickets on original tickets this item in particular by $33.00. I called the store looking to obtain the direct number of their District Manger or Regional Manager. They would not give the number but the store manager asked why I was looking to speak with higher ups and I explained what happened that day. He immediately said that I was correct that it was wrong of the employees not to give me the lower price and that I could come in and he would return the item at $89.99 and re-ring it at the visible lower price of $56.99. I had to go back to the store to have this accomplished which was a total inconvenience. All I can say is wow!!! Do better...
Read moreI normally have a great experience here thanks to the friendly and helpful staff, but the manager Justin made our visit really uncomfortable. He was overly clingy, following me and my family around the store and asking us a bunch of annoying questions. On top of that, I witnessed him being rude and insensitive to his own employees, cutting off a pleasant conversation I was having with them by telling them to get back to work—even though they were actively helping me.
He seemed apathetic and disconnected, just walking around aimlessly while the workers handled everything. When I went to check out, there wasn’t even anyone at the register. I had to go find someone just to pay, which is unacceptable—there should always be someone at the register.
I have nothing but praise for the employees—everyone else was kind and attentive. But the tall manager Justin was by far the worst part of the experience. Definitely needs improvement in how he treats both customers...
Read moreYour store has a lot of merchandise. However, there were two problems. First, the electronic "cash register" did not work. Second (and more importantly), we discovered upon our return home that a jacket that was purchased still had the electronic anti-theft device attached. We were forced to go to another store closer to our home to have it removed. And, of course, when we went into the store, the buzzer went off and we received a stink eye from everyone in the store as if we were trying to shoplift something. In short, sloppy and...
