Valparaiso Marketplace — Attraction in Valparaiso

I know it's just before Christmas, but Target was ridiculously chaotic. Products were all over the place because shoppers put things back whoever, however; employees were not putting things back where they belonged. The grocery portion, specifically produce and dairy, was so lacking practically nonexistent. I had to get into line almost back to the grocery section, but this was not due to the holidays. I had to be guided to a cashier because you're not allowed to just go straight to a lane. This is due to poor layout of checkout area. Lastly, I had placed an online order for pick-up (truly the only reason I went to Target), but when I finally got to the pick-up counter, the cashier didn't go behind her counter to retrieve my order. Instead, she had to leave her area and walk toward the clothing area to retrieve orders. Again, poor planning. This was the first time in over 5 years that I had stepped into this store, and it will...

The store is always a mess. Well, not always. I've been there maybe 3 times in the past couple of years where it was in order. Staff is usually scarce, but still just standing around not opening lanes when they need to be. It is Rare that someone checking you out will do more than greet you if they do. No conversation or even eye contact. They look like they'd rather be elsewhere. Doesn't matter the section, I'll find some random things strewn about that done belong while staff continues to ignore customers. I only go in for extremely needed things now. Bought some things that were supposed to be on sale but did not ring up the price they were supposed to. Went to the self checkout, when I asked the lady about not ringing up the sale price, she got very upset with me. So she looked it up and saw that they were on sale like I said. She then got more upset, took off like a dollar, then I told her that was not enough to match the sale price and she got more upset and took off another dollar. I was actually getting scared of her so I just took the $2 discount which was not nearly the price of what they were...
