Lakeland Pools & Spas — Attraction in Vernon Township

We moved into a house with an old hot tub and looked up the brand/model and found that Lakeside Pools and Spa sells this brand. Before we purchased the house it was vacant for about 3 years so the hot tub needed work and we didn’t have any information about it. I called Lakeside and Cindy Kannon was able to look up the model number from our hot tub and email me the user manual from for our hot tub (that was from 1992!) and helped us troubleshoot some issues we were having to get it up and running. After we verified it was working I brought a water sample in to figure out the chemicals. We had no clue what to use and Cindy spent about 45 minutes explaining everything and showing me step by step what to do. I am a stay at home mom and had my two boys (ages 2 and 4) with me that started to get restless, Cindy simply went to the back and brought out some small toys and puzzles for them to play with! Before I left Cindy told me that if I had any questions they would be open till 6:00 and feel free to call. I did end up calling with questions and Cindy was extremely helpful!

A few days later we had another question for Cindy and their technician. Cindy asked the technician and send us an email with their response.

We can not recommend this company enough! The time and attention they provided us you would have thought we had just purchased a brand new hot tub from them yesterday.

These days you can buy a hot tub and chemicals from anywhere but excellent customers service like this is rare. When our old hot tub does stop working there is no other place we would even consider getting a hot tub. We know that no matter what the employees at Lakeside Pool and Spa is there to help.... even if it is an almost 30 year...

Horrible customer service!. This establishment takes advantage of being one of the few pool services in town . I have a house in Southampton NY and their weekly service (with chemicals ) is 50$/week for a much larger pool NOT the excessive $125 Lakeland wants for my moms small vinyl pool. My family has been a customer for over 30 yrs , but I was dismissed bc my elderly mom who doesnt work and simply can't afford them anymore has not bought all of her chemicals there in the last 8 years! Unbelievable!. I own a small business and I would NEVER dismiss a customer of mine that has been coming my business for over 20 years bc they simply didnt spend enough- but go above and beyond to thank them for their patronage. What a bunch of greedy people taking advantage of small town America.

Update : I had to call Lakeland pools bc they vindictively posted false negative reviews about another business (of which they had NEVER BEEN T0!) by the very owners Debbie and Tracy- Cindy apologized and had them removed. Cindy admitted that my family had indeed been a loyal customer for over 30 years, apologized and thanked me and offered my mom a $50 Discount. Thank you Lakeland but not enough to erase the vindictiveness and unprofessionalism I...

I purchased a home back in 2022 and inherited a hot springs hot tub with the home that I knew absolutely nothing about. I went to Lakeland as the hot tub was purchased from them. Even though I did not directly purchase through them, they were more than accommodating to my needs and teaching me about my hot tub. Recently my hot tub went down and stopped heating. I called them nervous about the cold weather coming and potentially doing further damage to the hot tub. They sent out their technician Mike same day and were able to get me up and running all while at a reasonable price! I will continue to use Lakeland for all my spa needs for the foreseeable future! Top notch...
