The worst service I’ve ever received in the history of service! A huge inconvenience and waste of time and money. I came into this location to ship my camera to the manufacturer for repairs per the manufacturers request. I was given a printout that I was told to present to UPS to receive a corporate discount for the packaging and shipping. Upon arriving the associates were completely lost and didn’t know how to apply the discount. Eventually they ended up figuring it out and created me a label and gave me a receipt with my tracking number. I noticed after 2-3 days there had been absolutely no movement for this package, then I come outside and my package is just sitting on my front porch! Someone could have stolen my expensive camera! They didn’t even attempt to ship my package to the receiver, they literally just dropped it off on my front porch with no explanation at all and I update to the tracking. This was a waste of time and money: not to mention this delayed the repair of my camera of which I need for work! I tried calling customer service and they do not allow you to speak with anyone over the phone and I am being prompted by the automated system to go online and file a claim. File a claim for what? I just want an explanation as to why my package was never processed? I will never use UPS ever again for any reason. I should have just went to USPS instead of using Canon’s shipping method. I would have been so much better off. As someone that owns several online e-commerce stores and ships packages regularly I can honestly say I’ve never experienced any issues with USPS. Not only are they affordable but they actually deliver peoples packages and on time! Every single time someone sends me a package with UPS there’s some kind of...
Read moreShipped a transmission to Oregon with ups in January. I used a heavy duty container rated for almost twice the weight of the contents, packaged it well and made sure to verify they put the fragile and heavy labels on it before I left in the hopes that it would be handled correctly. The package was broken in transit and damaged to the point where it was put in a cardboard box and a plastic bag and delivered to the buyer in that condition. After filing a claim and patiently waiting 4 months while constantly being given the run around they finally denied my claim. I had video evidence from the store along with pictures of the container used but that did not matter. As a result I'm not being reimbursed for the cost of the transmission or the shipping which totals roughly $1000.00 If you are considering using ups for shipping I would research other options thoroughly. I have shipped countless other items with other shippers that were more fragile, heavier and expensive and they have always arrived in perfect condition. The only upside was the manager Linda who did attempt all she could to help although in the end that did not matter.
In short, ship with ups at your own risk because I...
Read moreTerrible customer service I went to ups store Sunday I needed a return label couldn't bring my package because it was to heavy to lift. When I went to the counter the young man ask the woman working there how to do it she said I had to screen shoot it and sent it to store email. Unfortunately I didn't bring my reading glass and she said we can't help you I expressed the print was to small and they have help me before. She was very rude and went in the back. It took me a minute but I was able to do it straining my eyes while the line got longer and she didn't come out to help. Then the young man said it didn't go through so while I struggling to do it again he said yes it just can through. To make it worse there was no paper in the printer so he had to go in the back to get her and sheb went again in the back to do something to get my return sheet. What a horrible experience bad cutomer service. Your employees need a class on how to treat customer and be...
