I have been w/ Bank of America for 7+ years.. & I was not acknowledged when I walked in initially. I noticed that the individuals that were acknowledged before me and after me were of Caucasian descent. The most hurtful part was the fact that the employees were of African American and Hispanic descent... eventually I had to file a complaint because the individual(s) that came after me were seen prior to me.
After about 20 min+, Jennifer ROBINSON came out and spoke w/ me very briefly.. she FINALLY got me w/ a BofA specialist and the lady (I forgot her name but she's the African American individual on the far left across from the BofA tellers) was soooo rude. I was in shock! After I informed Jennifer Robinson of that specialist's foul behavior.. she stood there until the interaction was complete. Meanwhile the individual was still being rude in front of her face and Jennifer DID NOTHING about it. She then gave me her card w/ her "personal" cell number to give her a call prior to me coming in for my next visit. I called her and she acted as if she didn't recall our interaction.
I will contact BofA corporate concerning this matter because this is truly unfair to a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust want to say that Jenny and Dennis did a wonderful job of taking care of my needs despite of the fact that they were overwhelmed and understaffed. The 4 stars is for their superior customer service. The company needs to do a better job of taking care of their employees and making sure that they have proper resources and wherewithal to take care of of the customers. Jenny and Dennis went beyond their duties to accommodate my needs despite me not having an appointment. Speaking of which it was impossible to get an appointment online for a simple account service. Given that we are in a pandemic BOA corporate needs to ramp up their online technology to accommodate the customerās needs if they donāt want us going in their branches. Itās ridiculous that I canāt even book an appointment and canāt even show up at the branch to get help. When showing up at the branch only 3 bankers were available to serve their clients. This is not acceptable. I hope Brian Moynihan and BOA management take a good look at the current issue before losing a long time customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time stepping foot into a Bank of America banking center after opening my account over the phone yesterday....all because Merrill Lynch (my IRA and 401k holder) told me it was in my best interest to have all my monies with the same financial institution- sounded like a smart idea. However, today I was denied accessed to my funds by both a teller AND branch manager because I did not have a PIN associated with the account. How in the world do you have a PIN for a new account without even having a debit card yet?!?! After calling the 800 number I was told the branch could have provided a temporary card so I could withdraw funds as needed on the spot. Never in my life have I been denied my own verifiable funds with supporting identification. TERRIBLE customer service and because of this I will be staying with my current bank and closing this account. This frustrating experience was completely unnecessary and my poor review towards Bank of America falls entirely on this branch and their lack...
